They have been distinctly quiet up to now. Will try and access facebook on my phone. Hope my message last night on facebook had an effect?

Hopefully we get a definitive answer one way or another.

Strange that the product went back online at full price and you can add the 16GB to the basket but not check out!!

That's great, hopefully theyll realise their current policy is upsetting a fair few customers. If they do the right thing and follow other retailers I think this will win them alot of good press.

I too have received a dispatch email from CPW:T.
On the tracking screen it states City Link but the email says Yodel so will wait and see.

My CPW order tracker now says

Your order is being processed. Your order should have arrived on Thu, 25 Aug 2011.

The email I received earlier today says

We will contact you by email once your order has been processed.

Orders processed successfully will be delivered to your selected Carphone Warehouse store within 3 working days

Looks like phoning the branch before making a journey will be a good idea.

Now, have I been too slow to get the HP case?....

Just seen Tesco have added a 64GB version of the touchpad, saying available from September.

It was on there when I bought mine from them on Monday, It did disappear though for a while. i think Tesco are like a rabbit in headlights right now. They just didn't expect this kind of interest, particularly in a full priced product that was up to this week failing to sell.

Just a word of support for anyone caught up in this Tesco fiasco - and some encouragement, too.

I've not been caught by Tesco here, but I do know from personal dealings with Tesco that they value their reputation extraordinarily highly, and if you can succeed in flagging this up at a high enough level, they will back down - I can guarantee that.

I'd lay money on that - and I never bet unless it's a sure-fire certainty. This one's as good as it gets.

Be patient, but make a fuss.
