Whatever your feelings about the DSR, they were not designed to allow people to buy goods on the possibility that the price may drop and they get a refund.

In behaving in this manner all that will happen is that the DSRs get updated (not necessarily a bad thing in itself) and rejections due to disagreements over price will not be acceptable reasons to cancel the contract.

You're abusing the process guys.

Maybe Tesco should call your bluff, give you your money back on your cards and sell the returned goods on a first come first served basis in store.

There certainly seem to be enough people willing to pay £200 for them on ebay.

As for those who couldn't wait to start playing with it - I hope it doesn't happen but you may just get burned on this one if Tesco decide that you've accepted the goods.

HP are not selling them direct. They direct you to a supplier so they are not wrong in saying they have none in stock. Any that are available will be distributed to retail partners...

If anyone has a 16gb or 32gb touchpad reserved at an argos store in Epping, Either harlow stores or in Chelmsford please can you give me the code :A as i would love to get a touchpad :rotfl: and this seems the only way possible!!

Hi Guys,

I've just stumbled on this thread as i need some advice.

I got wind quite early of the HP touchpad sale, and so on Monday reserved 2 via Argos.

They sent me 2 messages yesterday, saying I could pick them up on Friday.

However I have just recieved a call from Argos saying that they have a 1 per customer rule. So they are scrapping one of my reservations!

Can they do that?
I would happily pass that reservation unto someone here, if I can find out if they are pulling a fast one!

And quite a good plan from argos in my opinion, pity more retailers didnt do the same, may cut down on the ebay sharks.
