  • Morning all, not posted here for a while but read it every day, in fact like most of you seem to spend most of my day on here sometimes. DD back at nursery tomorrow and DS starting for first time tomorrow so have decided that routine has got to start again today. Kids were put to bed at eight o clock last night instead of falling asleep downstairs at about ten as they seem to have been doing over Christmas so at least thats a start.
Ironing to be done today to get us up to date for tomorrow and a general tidy of my bedroom as it seems to have turned into a bit of a dumping ground.
We'll hopefully get a walk in the woods with the dog later, great for working up an appetite.
Doing the Grocery/Storecupboard challenge this month so have rescued from the freezer for tonight
Beef Olives, Mashed Potato, Winter Root Veg Mash and Colcannon (Sp?) all from Tesco finest range but bought for silly low prices.
    Hope everyone enjoys their day

    Morning All

Well here I am at work yet again. Very sad yesterday to say goodbye to the Christmas decorations, especially the tree, as it still looks really nice and healthy

Made tags from the cards last night, with the rest going to recycle. Managed to get some of the Christmas recycling done, but owing to the weather, I didn't stay out long!

Edit: had a clean out of the pantry yesterday with Mum - we found tins dating back to 1997!!!  So dinner was soup and tinned peaches with evaporated milk.

Weight loss so far is 1lb. Still another 20lb to go!!!:rotfl:

New year spends £5.05 so far which I'm pretty chuffed about

    Morning everyone :)

Welcome to all the new members I really hope you stay and continue to post.

I have just been reading the post convinced that my vision is blurred ...... a couple of minutes later I realised I had a smudge on the front of my glasses :rotfl:.

All this talk of America yesterday has made me promise to make the kids American pancakes for breakfast. If the whether would hold up we can walk it off at a country park I was planning on going to yesterday but it looks very dull and dreary outside. Dinner tonight is going to be similar to DLB as I have mountains of sausages. I also have to do a mega ebay listing session. I was a bit put off because a newbie buyer gave me neutral feedback when I sent a perfect item, over it now though and I know it's pathetic to be bothered by it.

Valentinex - I am amazed at your willpower in not telling anyone about the baby yet, it seems like you have been pregnant for ages! good luck at the scan.

Have a lovely sunday everyone and hugs to those that need them :).
  • :D Morning Everyone

I feel full of the joys of spring today, as charlie managed to sleep from 9 - 6:30am, with 12 hours between feeds, so i am feeling good. I still woke every half hour from 4 onwards, but, it is a step in the right direction. :T

I had a lovely evening reading the thread yesterday and seeing the Disney piccies. I would love to go. Mum and dad could never afford to take the 4 of us, but i've always wanted to go.

Sorry to hear about your DDs chicken pox DLB, my nephew has it bad, so it is obviously doing the rounds in S Yorkshire at the moment. Fingers crossed the baby doesn't get it.

Nelski you also made me laugh with your knitted queenie. Can i have one too please. :D

valentine good luck with the scan. I honestly felt much better when i hit 14 weeks. I was huge by then as the only way to stop feeling sickwas to eat all day. I found my favourite maternity clothes came from ASDA and blooming marvellous. I wasn't keen on my mothercare ones. My friend got nice clothes from Marks and sparks.

I've been productive so far this morning. I've fed and changed charlie, expressed milk, fed the cats, changed the cat litter tray, cleaned up cat poop off the kitchen floor, and had breakie myself. Also spent about an hour playing with baby before he had a nap again. Now he's entertaining himself.

I need to roast two chickens today (2 for £5 in ASDA) and pack away old maternity clothes and newborn clothes that charlie no longer fits into the loft, now i've bought suitable containers to put them in. Also i want to menu plan until the end of the month, as i'm loosely attempting the grocery challenge. Other joys of the day are washing and ironing. while DH needs to do the tax return so i know what we need for the bill and can sort out the budget for the rest of the month. I'm hoping we can pay it from the current account and not touch savings if i'm good.

    Have a fab Sunday.

    Michelle, xx

    Hello everyone,

Welcome to all the newbies

Really hot day today. Been working up at the house. DD & friend have been helping as well. :D After a few hours they were exhausted and had to come home. Whimps. One completed room now :jThe Kitchen. I think we've done a good job really. Never built a kitchen before. :D I've taken a photo of it so will pop it on the end of this post.

Plans for tonight are catching up on some computer work & writing a few letters. Might have a nice soak in the bath & give my hands the Kaz treatment. ;) Hope you all have a lovely day & ((((((((hugs))))))) to those feeling poorly or just want one.

Really loved the photo's of Disneyland yesterday. Looks like a great place to take the kids when they were younger. Too far from here & way too expensive for us.
