Good morning early birds and night owls and welcome to new posters!
DH and the children arrived home from France last night, unpacked the car and dumped it all in the kitchen. So no prizes for guessing what I will be doing today - wash, dry, iron, wash, dry, iron, wash, wash wash aaaaarrrrggghhhh!!
So - they get all the benefit of a week away in the snow. I get all the benefit of having them back home!!
So, that really does take care of my day. DH has gone to work (so can't really complain that he will not be contributing to the housework etc) and I am hoping that the children will lay in for a while to allow them to catch up before they go back to school tomorrow.
I hope everyone has a good day, productive, lazy or otherwise :cool:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Hi all
First time posting on the daily thread, though I have been lurking for a while. Am NEVER up this early on a Sunday (and have been up since half five), but the howling wind and lashing rain are too much for me...
Today I will mostly be going to Tesco for a 'top-up shop', then coming home to cook up Sunday lunch (which will be some gammon steaks that need to be used up, along with the last of the old veg, which I'm going to roast in order to make way for the new veg).
This afternoon I'm planning on washing some clothes (and drying them in doors as hurricane gilbert is still raging in the valleys), and listing some things on ebay.
Hope you all have a good day*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0 -

Good Morning All
Been up a while I could have stayed in bed longer but find it makes me sluggish for the rest of the day.
Only me and DS up at the mom, he is quite happily watching Carry on Abroad on Sky+ (he is only 8 and addicted to Carry On's at the mom) so is quite peaceful. WM on need to unload DW in a min.
Am seriously hoping that DS football is cancelled, its not raining at the mom but is still soaking outside. If it is then OH will take both children swimming this morning.
My plans for today are - empty washing basket and iron everything by tonight. Tidy bedroom. Hoover. Make leek and potatoe soup. Do some baking with DD - not too much though as still have loads of sweet stuff leftover from Xmas. Oh nearly forgot DD needs to do some homework and pack her school bag.
Have done my weekly menu plan this morning and need to pop to Asda for a few bits. Will also pop to Tesco later in the week as never see anything decent reduced in Asda but Tescos normally has loads.
Feeling quite motivated still so gonna get on.

Morning all
I have sooooo much to do today
my lovely sis is hopefully coming over at the end of the month from canada - she lurks here sometimes as sajmumma  The house badly needs decorating so that is my incentive and i'm paying dds boyf to do the painting so i must clear my bedroom today. i've also been a bit lax with the housework lately as i've had visitors and other distractions. I'm raring to go now though and will just check in with the flylady thread to see what moggins wants us to do today and then i'm off - now that the heating is fixed i can at least get some washing dry.
Dinner will be soup and bread and cheese - this is something i learned from my dad'sgf - they live in holland but i don't know if its a dutch tradition but as sunday is a day of rest (and worship for some) they never have a big dinner.
Have a good day!I'm going to feed our children non-organic food and with the money saved take them to the zoo - half man half biscuit 20080 -
cant believe I have to go back to work tomorrow. where has the week gone? still I have caught up with my course work. still loads to go though.
today will be spent driving my kids around their busy social life! In between might pop to shops...but I need to do more course work.
dinner will just be what ever I can find in the fridge - there is some chicken so will probably do a casserole.x x x0
