    But not wine eh? Dammit.

Thanks for your expert advice Shykins. I'm seriously considering this way of eating ;)

If you want wine then champagne, red wine and dry white wine are the best ones to have. i used to drink red wine when i was low carbing although the body will burn off the alcohol before anything else to may slow weight loss due to that.

I have lost before with Atkins, and have just gone back to it as nothing else seems to have any success. Also in Spain atm, so some ingredients are not easy to find, but fish is very plentiful and a favourite of mine.

This looks very moreish, from one of the links above.

donny gal - I'm drooling at the thought of that....

I've only just started following a low-carb diet and it is the first time in YEARS that I haven't been starving all day and all night.

I know most people don't believe me, but no matter how healthy the carbs (eg brown rice) they make me so hungry and I never ever feel full.

I'm eating meat, fish, some cheese, eggs, salad, fruit and vegetables, and my appetite is like that of a normal person instead of a hungry wolf.

    evening :D

I have been lcarbing since xmas last year and have lost 3 stones , I am slipping at the moment with carbs creeping in here and there and i really want to knuckle down again

    today ive had:

    breakfast: bacon, eggs, mushrooms

lunch: 4 lcarb crackers with butter and cheese and an atkins bar

tea: cauli pizza topped with cheese chorizo and tomato puree and btterflybrains chocolate pud and strawberries

snack: macadamia nuts and s f jelly with cream whipped in

incidentally the crackers are from aldi, they are in a red or green packet and are just like ryvita and they are approx 2.8g - 3g carbs each and there is loads in a pack

i used to love my bacon, egg and 1/2 tomato for breakfast on atkins!! lunch was usually chicken with loads of lettuce, cucumber and other half of tomato and tea was steak with cheese melted on or porK with cheese melted on and loads of broccoli and cauli with butter on top!! snacks were cheese or nuts. I used to make low carb bread for dh as he likes his toast!

When i can work out properly how to do low carb on my budget i will start again!! might even put dh on it as he could do with losing a few pounds!!! :P But I never did it to lose weight, I just felt alot better when I was low carbing.
