Me too. I found myself weeping at a rerun of Ugly Betty this morning. How pathetic is that! Really wish things had turned out differently and had my bubs in my tummy for Christmas. :(

    Hugs for you too :o

I've been there SD... You'll be ok, be kind to yourself and dig deep. You'll feel better once you've made the next step:)
Nowt anyone can do tbh :o dh came up to offer hugs (I'm back in bed, took myself off to stretch out and stop myself flipping out at dh or dogs :o) but I sent him away again :( he was in the way of the stretching out, and I was already using my energy to stop from freaking out at my nerves, I didn't want to use more energy making sure I didn't take it out on him :o Gonna try a shower soon and then go get the christmas food I think... I can't hide out forever

We are trying to BD every other night this week as I think I will OV this week (boobs big today and getting some ewcm which suggests OV tomorrow, I think!!!). DH is keen (maybe keen is a bit strong...willing!!) to have a baby but he says he feels quite pressurised and as a result can't quite 'produce the goods'!!! So we are BDing regularly but without the end result we need to make a baby!

I am trying not to put any pressure on him or be annoyed at him, but part of me is quite annoyed anyway because I know what a small window of opportunity there is to conceive each month. We had a little chat about it last night and he says he feels pressurised but not by me, just because he can't enjoy DTD like we used to when I was on the pill, he is always thinking that he needs to perform!

Has anyone else had similar experiences or can anyone offer any advice?:

OH is quite good at performing on demand however I do have a large box of treats :) which I let him shop online and add to. During the important period I just go through the box which helps make it feel like it isn't a chore.

If he is really unresponsive I put a DVD on and it soon works, helps distract from the pressure too. Sorry if TMI. :o

It needs to contain Guaifenesin but make sure it doesn't contain a decongestant too, as this will dry things up again!

ETA instructions for taking it taken from babycentre:

If you're taking the liquid form of guaifenesin, take two teaspoons three times a day around the time of month you're expecting to ovulate. It's best to take it from the first day you notice any type of wetness in your cervical mucus through to when you get any indication of ovulation, be that an LH surge or rise in oestrogen, confirmed by an OPK, or until the day of your change in body temperature if you are charting. That may be for about a week.

Tesco Chesty Cough Syrup contains it and it's reduced to £1.47 at the moment too.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.
