Trying for a Baby Part 7

  • Hugs scarly.

The upstairs toilet in my office used to be mostly used by me for crying in! No one ever used it much so I would sit in there for ages trying to get myself back together, particularly after my miscarriage.

Take some time out to have a cry if you need it, and sod what other people think. It does hurt when you read stuff like that on FB. x
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..

When I get my forever baby I think I'm going to keep it completely off FB. You just have no idea of the pain you might be causing other people with those kinds of posts - particularly with old friends you haven't seen/spoken to in ages and you've no real idea of their personal circumstances.

    *Unlurks*

Since reading these forums, I've also decided that as and when it does happen for us, we will also not be putting anything on facebook. One of my cousins suffered a very late miscarriage / stillbirth and I wouldn't want to do anything that might cause her (or anyone else) pain.

    (((hugs)))

So had my Eyelash extentions put on ready for DH Dinner & Dance Black Tie do on Friday. Keep going to the bathroom and no sign of AF.

Anyone know why AF could be late and it not be + ???? Very confussed as only ever been late 4 times and I was PG each time.........................

Hugs scarly - luckily I'm not on facebook at all, so I avoid things like this, but I know how upsetting it must be. Pleased you managed not to get puffy - go and treat yourself to some chocolate or something you fancy on the way home, and then have a good bawl and a cuddle with your OH.

Well I'm back from my afternoon exam - went ok (although it was 1.5hours long and most of the boys had finished after about an hour and we have to keep them in there til the end) - it made me feel quite old though, as I realised that one of the boys (year 11) was a boy I used to babysit when he was about 6, and now he's about 6ft tall and looks like a man! He used to be obsessed with playing with my hair when he was little, and he used to sleepwalk too. The nice thing is, I told him that I used to look after him when he was little, and he said, "cool" (which from a 15-16-year-old, I'm taking as a compliment).

Hugs for anyone else who is lurking but not posting.

Tinks hopefully you are PG and the tests aren't sensitive enough. If you've been stressed or poorly, this can affect AF though.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

  • I went into my old office yesterday for my 'farewell lunch' (I have quit my job for various reasons) and a guy who works there that I cannot stand, told me his wife is finally pregnant after 10 years of IVF!!!
Now I kid you now when I say this guy is annoying personified, but I was so happy for him, and shows that good things can happen even when people have given up. From what I know of his situation his wife has been the driving force behind it as he had given up some years back that it was ever going to happen for them.

Enjoy being a SAHM MV xxxxxxx

  • Thanks tink, but that isn't the plan.

I've actually been for and offered another job, part time 3 days a week which I have accepted subject to getting childcare sorted.

In all honesty, being a full time SAHM just isn't for me, but working full time wasn't for me either! Had to quit my job of over 7 years which was really hard, but had to be done.

I'll never frequent the 'crying toilet' there ever again!
