Yay for the return of your OH Nicki
DH has told me I need to stay off and get better for Christmas and that it's daft going in making myself I'll when the place is closing soon anyway but I still feel guilty
I'm also missing the Christmas party which is annoying because I had some yummy food chosen for my meal.

TOTALLY .............No idea what the .... is going on and feel in limbo
Yep! And I've got 10 days on you! Come on body, sort yourself out!!!
Emsbet, experience has taught me that you get no thanks for putting yourself out for work when you're ill, stay home and let them get on with it, you're no good to anyone if you're not 100%!
Time2Deal, you should say something to your employer about your bad back and your need for a more supportive chair; it might seem a lot at £850 (although I know that my company would get about 40% off their office furniture supplier as a trade price so possible that your company would get similar) but your employer has a duty to look after you and like I said to Emsbet, you're no good to them if you're not 100%, how much would it cost them for you to be off work laid up with a bad back?!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
Seems like lot of hugs are needed at the moment, so it's time to bring out the big guns again:
Jen, I hope you've managed to speak to a doctor, and that everything is ok. I mentioned before, but one of my friends has had bleeds in early pregnancy with both her babies, and both are doing well. I hope it's nothing to worry about.
2b, I've probably missed you, but have a fantastic time in the US!
Well the Christmas quiz was really good last night - we didn't win, but Moon bought 2 strips of raffle tickets (the whole night was in aid of Macmillan Cancer Care - we raised over £200), and we won a DAB radio. :jWe haven't tried it out yet, but it looks good, and means that when the digital switch-over happens, we'll still be able to listen to the radio.
No work today (the exams office don't need me now until January), and I doubt I'll get any supply as it's the last few days of term, so I'm sitting here in my pyjamas, planning a Christmas cleaning session. I'm in the 2ww, so no news on the ttc front.
Well I suppose I'd better go an get dressed and start on the cleaning before I get distracted or lose motivation.
Successful babydancing to all.

mrhappy will hopefully remember to phone the doctor today to see if his SA results are in yet, so fingers crossed it is better than last time
Remember, even if there are none in there, there may be some elsewhere:cool: It's 21st century, a lot of things are possible:)No sign of AF and superdrug & fmu = BFN :mad:DH is home today :j:j:j. Hi flight is due to land at 9.00 and he said he would come home for a few hours before going back into work, so hopefully he'll be with me by 11. I know he's only been away 3 days but I've really missed himWhattodonow wrote: »CD1 for me today QQ.

Do you have a digi tv?
We had to go digital last year, earlier than planned (switch over is April 2012), as the aerial blew away, and the TV was already touch and go:o Aerial itself was £99 (incl installation):money:0 -
 Grrrr! I've called in sick but still they are sending me emails about work to my personal email address!! It's stuff that someone else there could easily deal with but they are bothering me intead!

Oh dear, I tried to do multi-quote but apparently I don't know how:o.
MrsHappy, I'm 32 and the light AF has been happening the last 6 months or so. Maybe before as well but started to pay attention when we started to try for a baby. It seems it's getting shorter and shorter. At the same time of TTC I started to use a mooncup, I was thinking maybe that contributes as well? Not sure though.
Birdie, OH has to have an op and the surgeon can do it on the 3rd Jan. This is a revision op as they really messed it up here, in the UK. He is scheduled to have the revision here with a well known surgeon at the end of January but found out a couple of days ago that it wasn't going to be him who does it but his assistant. So he will go home to his birth country, the best specialist there is available at the beginning of Jan and he has a really good reputation. It's going to cost us £700 but still worth it and his mum will be able to look after him, I can't take any time off. It's not ideal but I think the best for him. I will be over emotional but need to stay strong for him.
Tink ((hugs)).
I have thrush:o. Not sure how it happened but it's very itchy and sore:(. Going to gp on Sat morning so will mention it though trying over the counter medicine and cream at the same time too.
QQ, can I get on the list pls? It's CD7. Thanks0 -
Yay!:j

Yes - my M&D gave us a Sony Bravia TV for our wedding present, and I have a freeview box on the one in the bedroom.
Well there's been a change of plans - the exams office have decided that they want to go out to lunch today, so have asked me to come in after all to cover the afternoon exam. Still, it's all money isn't it.
emsbet I would be inclined to ignore the emails - after all, you aren't obliged to check emails when you're not in work anyway.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -
Emsbet, pretend you are offline. You are not obliged to be in front of your computer while sick.
Has anyone watched yesterday 'My child is not perfect'? I found it interesting (saw it last week too) but the title is really upsetting, the children seemed perfect to me! Just because they have some kind of medical/emotional/behaviour problem it doesn't mean they are not perfect.0 -

((hugs)) thrush is terrible. I went through a stage a few years ago when my immune system was low after an illness that I kept getting thrush over and over. I've always found that the pessary works better for me than the pill. I have been known to use both during a really bad bout as it was the only way I could shift it. Not sure if that's an advisable thing to do though but I was desperate
