Trying for a Baby Part 7

I found when I went back to work after DD2 that my boss insisted on telling all my clients that my child had a "minor" disability and kept saying to me that she was just "mildly autistic". Given that my boss had never seen my child, and that she had been diagnosed with severe learning difficulties and we'd been told when she was diagnosed that she would never be capable of any kind of independent life, and that I was running ragged arranging to meet her and my nanny for speech therapy and occupational therapy during my lunch hour two to three times a week and arranging my whole work diary round her this completely infuriated me, and I felt completely invalidated what we were dealing with. In fact it was one of the main reasons why I ended up giving up work completely because I felt quite undermined by the whole thing and like my boss thought there was some stigma on her or the firm that her assistant had given birth to a severely disabled child.
Oh Nicki that's so sad. I'm sorry you had to go through that.

Unless you have lost your child too,
Please don't tell me my broken heart will heal,
Because that is just not true,
Please don't tell me my son is in a better place,
Though it is true, I want him here with me,
Don't tell me someday I'll hear his voice, see his face,
Beyond today I cannot see,
Don't tell me it is time to move on,
Because I cannot,
Don't tell me to face the fact he is gone,
Because denial is something I can't stop,
Don't tell me to be thankful for the time I had,
Because I wanted more,
Don't tell me when I am my old self you will be glad,
I'll never be as I was before,
What you can tell me is you will be here for me,
That you will listen when I talk of my child,
You can share with me my precious memories,
You can even cry with me for a while,
And please don't hesitate to say his name,
Because it is something I long to hear everyday,
Friend please realize that I can never be the same,
But if you stand by me, you may like the new person I become someday
ETA: Secrets, I've missed you the last couple of days (/nights?) but figured you were doing the post CD1 sulk thing that I'm also now doing

I'm also on CD1 sulk. I think after getting a bit excited last month it's all a bit of a letdown now. But will get motivated again, and join the christmas BD'ing brigade.
Fingers crossed for good Christmas baby vibes for us all!0 -
Well, what are we all up to tonight, fellow dominators?
