    sounds good BZ.

Currently I am making stock and will probably get an early night, my mother and aunt are coming up tomorrow morning and I have a councillor appointment in the afternoon.

FF wise I have just updated it with every AF since 2008 to work out my average cycle which is 37 (not as bad as I thought :))

I love how at nearly 2am you're talking about having an early night ;)

Oooh counsellor, is it your first appointment ? Do you get on with mother and aunt?

37 isn't too bad, my last cycle just gone was 37 :D

I've got my cd2-5 blood test (10miles awayth_rolleyes.gif) tomorrow, then hairdressers in the arvo... this will all be fine, if my s0dding nerves would chill the eff out and let me do the same!yikes.gif

Think its about our 4th appointment, going with OH. Not sure whether it is helping but its not not helping ;) I get on with mother and aunt but they can be a bit hard work.

I hope that your drugs kick in soon so you can get on with the week. What are the blood tests for? When do you get the results?

Not not helping is a good enough start I guess ;) Point me out a mother and/or aunt that can't be a bit hard work :rotfl: I'd be mithered at dealing with them and the appt at the same time/day tho I think.:o

Thanks, I made the mistake of assuming my nails could handle me trying nail varnish on for all of 10mins before taking it off... apparently that's all the encouragement my nerve endings required today pouty.gif

Blood tests this time is to check the hormone levels at CD2-5, plus they're checking whether I have the Rubella antibodies and something else too that I've forgotten now. I had two CD21s to do (to check post-ovulation hormone levels, though I did point out that they were dreaming if they thought I'd've ov'd by then, nevermind produced anything like 7dpo hormone levels!) - one I've done, one I need to get done on *potters off to check* Saturday 31st Dec... cos that's gonna happen!! I'll have to check tomorrow when they'll be there for the CD21 bloods to be taken...sigh. I flippin knew I'd hit a weekend with it somewhere along the way, but adding in NYE as well takes the mick!

Only get the results of these, and DH's SA (which DH keeps calling w@nk in a pot!) which he's doing on the 20th, the HSG I've no appt for yet, and the scan they're doing directly before my appt....in May!! Right at the end of May! Talk about waiting!! They told me it would be 5months, at my last appt, and I burst into tears, and now they've sent me a letter for May 23rd, which is actually 6months to the day after my appointment :(

At least you have things to do on the way and tests keeps you occupied (know this doesn't help). Hopefully it is poking a stick at fate and you won't have to wait that long. :) I had a look back and when I got pg I ov'd on day 28. Day 21 would be no where near either. If you can go back beginning of Jan then it will be a little later and more likely to be around Ov. I am sure someone mentioned that if it is a couple of days out it doesn't make that much difference.

I think my Oh would call it that too, I am also hoping that we get a bfp before having to go for further tests ;)

Yeh, I'm trying to console myself that the longer away it is the less likely I'll be to need it, but if I do then it's there... it doesn't help, some days, and like DH (tearfully) pointed out the other day, if we do need help then we won't have a baby at christmas for another two years, which is a bit soul destroying, so I'm trying to convince him as well as myself! :o

Talking of poking sticks at fate, I took out a medicash thing this month, which won't pay out on the birth of a baby until after november next year... hopefully I won't get that payout ;)

As for DH he said before "I've booked the morning off for my.........(see previous ;))" :rotfl:

How does your DH handle the counselling? I have the feeling mine would clam up...

  • Woohooooo! I am officially up to date with my bits and pieces work wise. Haven't done everything that I would like to do when I've got time, but have done everything I HAD to do (unless anyone can translate French). For a whole 6 hours I am free to take over the world/ dining table / sleep.

Hope your appointments go well tomorrow bigzippy & kitten. Have you got mother & aunt before or after counselling kitten?

His ok, he is more female than me in general terms so he seems to be the one who wants to talk where as I clam up a bit. We are just trying to keep the lines of communication open, although we are a strong couple we are more than aware the statistics when it comes to losing a child and we lost two :(

Mother/Aunt is before counselling so can b***h about them after :)

Secrets, I'm terrible with French, so I can't help you there! (ETA I just saw this smiley and had to share! e993618052fd4849d8791881dbdf054586827e65.jpg)
How likely is sleep? You must run either on pure caffeine or pure adrenalin, the amount you get up to with so little sleep! Do you struggle getting to sleep, or are you just caught up with doing so much that you don't get chance?

I can only imagine the strain your relationship is feeling right now... :( Do/are you tending to turn in to each other, or out to others, generally?

Glad you said mum and aunt first, I couldn't cope with seeing them after the appt!emot67.gif
