So sorry tinks. This time of year post loss just SUCKS and news like this is bound to knock you for six. Can you prescribe yourself a giant bar of chocolate, a warm bath and some snuggles with DH (yours not mine please!) for tonight?0 -
Huge hugs Tinks, can understand why you feel so sad and down. It is awful when tests are bfn but af is not there either as you are in limbo, particularly after your sad loss. Nicki is right, can you spoil and pamper yourself tonight.0

Thanks Lady Bugs. :A Cup of de-caf made and have cracked open the tin of Christmas Choc's;)
I feel like such a horrid person.
DH has just given me a big hug and said that Christmas Conception is going to be a full on military plan :rotfl:If you can think it........it will happen0 -

Big massive squishy ((hugs))
You are NOT a horrid person! You are completely normal and it's a completely normal reaction. The conflicting emotions post mc concerning other people getting pg is so tough to deal with and they can really mess with your head. Just know that what you are feeling is normal and you are not horrid. You are a warm lovely person if you weren't you wouldn't feel bad about feeling jealous.
Operation Christmas Conception rocks!

QQ - Can you please put me down as CD6 please?
Does anyone else just feel like giving up TTC sometimes? It's starting to feel a little bit stressful and definitely much less fun than it did.
I feel very much like it's a bit of a chore and it's more fun in the 2ww where I don't have any pressure to perform anymore:jHappily Married 12/09/09:j:jDS1 born 22/08/10 7lb 6oz:j

Hugs Tink. One of my friends fall pregnant last month, she only started to take Pregnacare like 2 weeks before, I felt absolutely devastated but now happy that she is. It's a massive blow but hey ho, life is not easy and we have to go on.
Thanks for the reassurance re short period as Sa-ra-ra-ra says it's amazing what you realize about your body, having short periods never sticked in my mind but according to my phone I've been having them for the last 9 months.0 -
I was one of the oldest at school, my mum said that I was bored at nursery and the first 2 years of school was painfully slow as I could already read and write when I got in (my sis is a year older than me and I picked it up from her). I can't remember any of these tbh but did really well at school throughout my life and found studying easy. My sister on the other hand was one of the youngest and she struggled until she was about 10 but did really well after (she is a teacher now).
I am not that bothered about schooling tbh, I just want to have a baby!
You sound like me. My Dad said I could read the Narnia books when I went to school, but of course they put everyone on the same books at the start, so I started coming home with books that had 1 word on a page! I remember I had a friend who was the same, she had a September birthday, mine is in November. I really liked being one of the eldest, and i really would love to have the same for my kids! I felt bad for the younger ones in the 6th form as I had already passed my driving test before some of them had even turned 17.Sa-ra-ra-ra wrote: »Me too - FF FINALLY put in a crosshair for me (although it put it in yesterday and then changed it this morning - I think what it changed it to is more accurate). I'm 3DPO, which puts me at 14DPO on Christmas Eve. FF suggests waiting to test until 28th December, which is clearly not going to happen!
Fingers crossed we get a nice Christmas present
I think youd have to hold out til 15dpo purely so it could be an xmas bfp!Q's OH has a 7 hour flight to get back.
I know it's not funny at all in terms of the pressure & I hope you don't take offence at the fact that it makes me smile to think of a bloke at an airport ready to make what is likely to be a 12-14 hour end to end journey to 'make a deposit' and then do the same to get back ready for work on Monday morning.
It's a shame he couldn't have the tests wherever he is (or is the deposit to be used for the IVF?)
Hope he's well paid (or that work will pay for the extra flight back).
Obviously I hope I get a BFP in a week, if not I'll be joining the NYE BDers.
That does sound kinda funny when you put it like that!
7 hours isnt too bad, at least its not like 12 or something. 7 is totally do able so I hope it goes for it!0 -
Congratulations jen - fantastic news:j
You are absolutley not a horrible person Tinks, I think its totally understandable to be emotional and have alsorts of feelings flying around
Qq - keeping my fingers crossed for you and your oh
