I'm lurking again, but just to say I got approved for Maternity allowance, and I quit my job just before I got PG. If I remember correctly they go back 66 weeks from your due date, and you have to have worked 26 of those weeks I think, so if you did get a BFP in January, you'd probably qualify for MA. If that helps at all xx
Thanks for that

Thanks guys.. I've a couple of cb digis.. Might try one in a couple of days.
Still no symptoms to spot and no AF symptoms I usually have, so will keep my fingers crossed... No jumping smilies yet!0 -
RE the maternity allowance, I found this:
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/BenefitsTaxCreditsAndOtherSupport/Expectingorbringingupchildren/DG_10018869
You may be eligible if:- you've been employed and/or self-employed for at least 26 weeks in your 'test period' (66 weeks up to and including the week before the week your baby is due) - part weeks count as full weeks
- you earned £30 a week averaged over any 13 weeks in your test period

Jen77, I hope that turns into a BFP soon!
Well 13DPO for me and no obvious AF signs yet - the day before AF I usually get pains in my lower back and I tend to be highly in the mood to BD. No such signs yet, but I *think* I spotted some red streaks in CM when I quickly popped to the loo this morning but not sure as I am wearing black knickers! I am finding it really hard waiting to test now but will try my best till wait till Sunday like I said I would!
Has anyone got anyone nice plans for the weekend? Became Mrs W in 2011
