Patience is a virtue I lack!0 -
Am feeling a bit  today. My DD gets school transport to school, specifically for disabled children, with two escorts on board plus a driver, and they failed to notice that she had a seizure on the way to school! They are supposed to have been trained in what to look for :mad:. She arrived at school very woozy and out of things and school called me around 11 because she wasn't any better and asking me to pick her up. Having just spoken to a friend whose child is picked up by the same bus 5 minutes after my child, when the bus reached her child, my DD was apparently slumped against the window and she thought she was asleep. Doesn't fill me with huge faith in their ability to look after her to be honest.0

KittenPie - sounds exciting!
Tinks - fingers crossed this is your month0 -
QQ, IVF! Wow, how amazing would it be to have your baby in your arms in 9 months time? You don't have to tell me but I was wondering what hubby does to see him irregularly?
tinkwigs, when did you get the +ve OPK as part of your smep? kittenpie, texas sounds great, what type of job is that, admin like you wre after? is your OH pretty transferable?
After some advice tonight. 2nd month off the pill and last month was 27 day cycle with me, according to CM and mood ov'ing around CD13/14. Today I am CD14 and have some lower ab pain but having taken OPKs since Day 8 by me reading SMEP wrongly, I have had two tests with faint lines on the test... (did two yesterday as thought that I must be ov'ing!) I haven't been drinking to see if you think it's worth me taking another OPK tonight? I don't want to waste them but would be gutted if i did miss ov. I've had assessments so not been able to do the same time every night and now generic ovulation calendars are saying i should have OV'd yesterday or today. Hubby and I did BD yesterday (as well as day 9 and 11) but now I dunno if i should be on the 3 day burst as my CM has started to get cloudy which it did before EW last month... I know generic calendars don't work yet as I've only had one cycle but just feeling frustrated and not knowing what to dosoo my question to you, what do you think and what would you do if you were me?
TIA xx

Student Mrs I also got only a light line on the OPK on CD11/12. I wasn't sure it was saying ov - but in hindsight the timing does seem right, and it has clearly NOT been there on the other days. Perhaps sometimes it doesn't show up so much. It was my first month testing, so I don't know what is normal for me.
QQ: Exciting/scary news about the IVF. Hope it goes well and quickly. Hopefully you get as much support from here as you give to others.
Elelyn: Best of luck tonight. It's probably better to know, and if it's a yes it should be clear. I am not going to test until AF is about a week late, as if I don't wait then I will just assume the BFN is an error, and keep hoping! This TTC thing does make you a bit nuts.
Tinks: Enjoy the SMEP! What does it stand for by the way, and why is this routine especially relevant for ladies who have had a MC?
For me, nothing baby related going on I think (apart from the usual symptom spotting/inventing), but I found a massage place today to try and deal with my sore legs and back. He did a very strange thing and somehow got his finger under my hip bone to 'release' my hip flexors. Back is still sensitive, but it has made a massive difference to how I feel! Really able to suddenly move much more freely and much happier tonight. Not very MSE going with a private person in the centre of London, but well worth it.
So I'm a bit happier today, and hope everyone else is too!0 -
thanks. i keep reading that faint line is unlike pregnancy test and does not mean squat unless it is the same colour or darker as the test line so argh! either i am patient and wait until tomorrow where i have a day off and so can do mid afternoon or I try again soon... just odd as the only thing ive had is faint yesterday and today...
great about the masseuse, they are genius aren't they?!

That is slightly worrying, as that is all I got this month. And it seemed to be on the right day. I googled it just now and read that a 25 day cycle may mean I'm not ovulating. That may explain why my periods have gotten shorter... brilliant - another thing to worry about!0

Aww, I'm not thanking this nastily but to say sorry!! The good ladies on here will sort you out, I'm sure there is nothing to fear, probably our bodies just playing tricks on us... and they say worrying doesn't help - wish it did, I'm a pro at that!!!

A faint line on an OPK isn't a positive, unfortunately. I use the digital OPKs which only have two possible outcomes, a circle which is negative, or a smiley face which is positive, which takes all the guesswork out of things, so might be worth investing in a box or two of these for a couple of cycles.
How long is it since you had your month on the pill timetodeal? It may be that your body is still fighting to get back to normal. Some women take up to 6 months to start ovulating regularly and have a long enough luteal phase after hormonal birth control. Might there be any other issues at work too? Is your BMI in the normal range, and do you have any other signs that your hormones might be out of whack, specifically acne, greasy skin or unusual body hair particularly facial hair? If the answer to any of these are yes, and it is quite a while since you came off the pill, a trip to the doctor for a day 21 progesterone test might not be a bad idea.0
