https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3645173 just wondering how much it will begin to cost if we do ever get lucky!!

What I do is take the last drink, go pee whenever I want, and on the third hour I hold it in. One doesn't need much for OPKs, and less inside the tank, more concentrated LH I'd say:pStudent_Mrs wrote: »https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3645173 just wondering how much it will begin to cost if we do ever get lucky!!
I suppose one can spend less if one uses reusable nappies and get baby stuff from relatives and friends/freecycle:)0 -

Aw thanks
How was the HSG? I've got one that I'm waiting for that appt for, which I'm dreading tbh
I honestly didnt mind it - thought it was going to hurt but its no worse then a smear
My lady said that they'd refer me on to the "assisted conception" clinic/waiting list if clomid didn't work. That apparently incorporates the IUI type things and the IVFs. The waiting list she said for that was 18wks. Apparently there's a pretty strict thing you have to pass to be helped by that clinic, including past convictions and stuff, from what she said! Sounded similar to passing for adoption to me!
My consultant mentioned IVF too - id hope to do IUI first but we'll see
Has DH seen the urologist yet?
Yes his appointment was today and everything is fine
It's not so much people that know us that I'm concerned about - cos I can chose whether to have them around iyswim. It's "professionals" that "should" know better, but oftentimes don't. But thank you.:) I know I used to make assumptions previously too. Being ill, and dealing with my incapacitated MIL, has educated me a lot too
yeah professionals arent professionals are they...my OH doctor said to him that theyll be nothing wrong with him (My OH cos he has a child) and basically pointed the finger at me  i was fuming well mr doctor all my tests are fine too!!! :TMorning all, af is due Friday and I think it's on it's way as I started to get a migraine last night on drive home from work which was horrible. Made it home and went straight to bed but still have it this morning and it is right accross my right eye which is really unpleasant. It is quite common for me to get a migraine a few days before af and they normally last a few days so think I am out this monthjust feel like it is never going to happen for me but will go to doctors once af starts as we have been trying for over two years now
Hugs to all who need them x
Hugs Primmer - i totally understand where you are coming my 2 years will be may which may sound ages away but in this game it isnt!! forgive me for asking and you dont have to answer...have you had all the tests? and have they come back ok or is this why you are going?
Huigs anyway - if you ever need to PM me your more then welcome and that goes for any of you ladies0 -

You got Peak!
Are there time for a donor?
I know! That was a surprise.
Cant believe I didn't get one high, went straight from low to peak. Must be the soy, right? Has anybody else had that?
Going to meet donor tonight at 8:30pm ish and hope once again it's not too late! I have some CM, but it's not like it was last month (in abundance and very stretchy.. )
OPK confirmed it positive. I was holding off using the OPKs, I generally start to test when I get my first high on the CBFM!Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Good morning, last day of November:wave:
Have briefly reminded DH about IVF this morning, and told him to think about it (obviously he's forgotten until now:mad:).
Good Luck :jQQ - you might want to put me down at 0DPO today - but I'm not entirely sure...:o
1. I've had two positive opks for the last two days - today, there isnt even a hint of a line so I think if ov is occurring this month it's today.
2. According to FF, I havent ov'ed at all but then can I rely on my temps that much this month when its my first month and I've not been that reliable with testing?
3. If my temps ARE to be believed then I might not have even ov'ed this month which makes me think I might NOT have ov'ed over the last few months when I've just been using opkson their own.
I'm sorry if I always seem a bit moany and confused when I post on here - I just feel really frustrated with myself that I am 32 years old and I totally dont understand the way my body works and even though I've been studying it for over the last 6 months I am still struggling!!
I always knew that it might take a while once we started but I never thought I would get so frustrated as I do. I dont think it helps that my OH put it off for a bit longer than me convincing himself that we could get pg the first month of trying - because he thought it was that easy!!
And then every month when it doesnt happen he looks seems so disappointed!!
I've always tried to be realistic and try and keep his feet on the ground by saying 'yes I would love a baby but you know it doesnt happen for everyone' - and he always says 'it will happen for us, dont worry'. I know he's only trying to make me feel better but it makes me feel worse knowing that if it never happened for us, then he would be so sad.
It doesnt help that I am going to see an old friend of mine tonight who always told me (from the age of 21...), that "I want a baby when I'm 28"... She got married at 26 or 27 and then 1 day after her 28th birthday, she gave birth to her 1st daughter!! Well executed plan or what!
I'm off round to see the 2nd baby tonight. She's always been the friend that I've told everything and although I've not seen her for a while, I'm worried that the situation is just going to make me cry at her!!!
Sorry for the epic post.... just needed to get it out of my system before I get to work - hope you dont mind.
Hope everyone else is full of PMA today - might help me boost myself up by the end of the day!!!
Hugs squ1rrel50 -
Afternoon everyone.
Hugs to everyone who needs them..it's hard sometimes to keep the PMA up x
I have been counting my cycles for the past 4 months just to get an idea of if my cycle is regular again. They have been 28, 25, 26 and 28 days in length so far..AF just arrived today.
I can't help but look on the calendar and see when would be a good BD time if I were to get preggo this month :cool:Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0
