Trying for a Baby Part 7

I agree with emsbet. I do understand the longing to have another child (i think we all do on here) but would you want to do this at the risk of your marriage? What I enjoy most about having my children is sharing the joy of them with my husband. I would find it incredibly difficult to be a single mother, and so for me if the choice was to conceive again and lose my husband or to stay at the same number of children and keep him, then that would be MY choice, But others might make a different choice, based on their own life circumstances.
You are only 27, so although I know that you don't want too big an age gap between your children, you do still have at least another 10 years when you should be able to conceive relatively easily, and quite possibly 15 years when it would still be possible. And your husband is only 31, which is also quite young. Does he have other things going on in his life which might make him nervous about having another child at this point, eg is his job and yours both secure, in a low risk industry?
It definitely doesn't sound like he never wants another child. He might even decide that he wants another child quite soon. But it does sound like you are a few months ahead of him on that decision making process. As emsbet has said, all you can do is keep talking and see if you can come to an agreement.
If it helps, I knew I wanted another child about 6 months before my OH was ready to decide that he also did. We had a number of conversations about it, not nagging or arguing, but just discussing how we both felt about things, and I thought that I was resigned to not having another ever. But here I am now, so things do change in the minds of men.0 -

I haven't been around much on this board, especially in the last month as I've moved house and was without internet for a while.
Had a really busy month and didn't have any time to obsess about TTC, took one dose of soy on CD3 and then forgot about it. Logged on here yesterday and was shocked to see what CD I was on, ransacked the house this morning looking for a test. Found one and got my BFP.
I confessed to my stepmum a few weeks ago that we were TTC and she said it took 2.5 years for my sister, I asked what they did different and she said they moved house and forgot about TTC. Anyone else want to test the method?
Thanks everyone for sharing all their stories, they've got me through some really low times. And especially thanks to QQ for all the effort she puts in.Wins 2015:

Hugs morocha, sounds like ur OH's got cold feet. Some men are like that and panic. He may not have meant it. You need to sit down and talk to him and see if that is how he feels or whether he just said that to get a reaction from you.Halifax CC £1029/£2490, Tesco CC [STRIKE]£0/£3203[/STRIKE], Tesco loan £15431/£15808, Carloan1 £6743/£8241, Carloan2[STRIKE] £0/£3813[/STRIKE]
