The 2WW is PANTS .............carp...........RUBBISH...................Fill in the blanks :D:rotfl:

Ha ha I was thinking of the word that begins with f, which fits exactly how I feel at the beginning of the 2WW.

Feels like I am starting a hike up a huge mountain and when I get to the top, I either reach the top and go over and celebrate or I slide back down to the beginning to start all over again.

Hugs to all those with CD1 and hugs to picklepick for BFN.

Ladies, could anyone tell me if this is normal - I have been broody for at least two years, crying on a regular basis because I desperately wanted to be a mum and couldn't see it happening for some time. Now we have made the decision to TTC the broodiness seems to have, more or less, disappeared and I keep thinking "If we put it off another year or two, we would be in a better financial position" which would always be the case no matter when we decided to TTC.

Is this a case of some normal nervousness about taking such a big step in your life or am I just not ready?

I think it's a fairly normal reaction to such a massive decision. I have always wanted more babies, but never met the right man, when I met mrhappy we talked about it and he said he had never wanted children, so I accepted that and put it out of my mind, I was happy with the 1 I have and being an auntie, so when he had a complete turnaround and got really broody it took me a while to say ok. the first couple months of trying I was a nervous wreck-totally terrified of getting pregnant, now, 6 months down the line I have totally thrown myself into TTC and am so excited at the thought of being a new mum again when we get a BFP. Go with the flow and stay chilled xx

I don't think anyone is ever 100% ready to have a baby, finacially and emotionally. If everyone waited until they were financially ok then it would be too late. That's why we are taking the plunge now. Although we are well off money wise at the moment and if had a child, could quite happily afford for me to take time off and buy everything, that money is meant to be for a house deposit, as we rent at the moment. All I think is that if I want both in 'no worries' terms, then I will be about 50 years old!
Had a really wierd baby dream last night, if I was successful this month is means that I would be giving birth around the time of the biggest weekend of the year for our little humble Sports Club, as its festival weekend in the village, and we are the campsite for it. This dream was so wierd involving firstly me showing a caravan into place and my waters going, then having a huge arguement the day later after giving birth that I had to leave hospital, and storming out putting caravans in place with a newborn strapped to my front. OH laughed when I told him and then said that I would just have to cross my legs as he was getting a quad bike to place the caravans (200+ caravans camp with us) and he wasn't missing that!
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Totally normal it's the whole after you get what you want you don't want what you wanted at all :)

It is a big descion to make then you become scared for 1,000,000 different reasons.

If you wait until you can afford kids you would never have them ! :o:p;)

Thanks ladies, its nice to know this is a fairly "normal" reaction. I guess part of the reason I was worried if I am ready is that where I work I would be the youngest member of staff to have children by at least 5 year so feel quite "young" compared to them and was panicking I was rushing in! Mind you, on the other hand, about a third of the people I went to school with already have kids so from that point of view its about time I got on with it :D

Vesper, your dream sounds very weird but funny!

Hugs Kittenpie, I hope today went well for you, we are all here if youi need anything.

Emsbet, I hope the bleeding stops soon, if you are worried could you call NHS DIrect? They may put your mind at rest?

Hugs for AFs, and yay esio trot for BFP

No TTC news from me, although our buyer pulled out on Monday, so now we have a stupidly high mortgage and a spare house. Was very upset Mon/Tues but OK today. Nothing we can do so no point in dwelling on it. Just not sure what we are going to do now for money, etc.

Hope everyone else is OK, still no sign of ov for me, but I have 35-40 day cycles so think it would be next week before that happens (I've been a good girl and started reading TTC books now).

Have had feedback on my first uni assignment as 'good', so very pleased with that.

    Hope everyone is good
