I deffo cannot rely on my cm for ovulation! I had eggwhite cm about 3-4 days pre ovulation. Pretty much dry since until I ovulated. You do not always ovulate around the time time cm is eggwhite. The only reliable method of telling when you have ovulated is a temperature rise. Even the ovulation sticks I often see people saying the line isn't as dark never got darker - was feint only - etc and some don't know if they have ovulated on these so I wouldn't personally rely on these either.

Just been for baby cuddles again at my friends, we had got her a newborn sleepsuit so had to drop it off before he gets too big (well that was my excuse). Was really nice chatting to her as she is the only one of my friend's that knows about us trying, so she and her OH have given us loads of advice. I haven't been able to talk to anyone about trying face to face.
OH was terrified he was going to drop the baby so didn't have any cuddles, but was so adorable seeing him getting super broody.

Going back a couple of pages, I always have really wierd dreams, they feel really real aswell.

On the bleeding emsbet if it hasn't stopped by 6 weeks and cervix is closed and you definitely have no infection, I would be inclined to ask if you have all clear to start bding again anyway. Sometimes bleeding after a birth is just hormonal and not a sign of anything wrong.

When I had my first child I bled for 17 weeks immediately afterwards, and only stopped when I fell pregnant with my second! The bleeding was quite light by the end and obviously I was ovulating but didn't know it before that. Even if your cycle doesn't start unbeknownst to you like mine did, it might help get back to normality. I think the only reason they want you to wait until bleeding stops is because of the risk of infection if your cervix is still slightly open, but if it's closed it might be ok?

Thanks. If I am still bleeding after next weekend I will go back to the doctor. I know when I was in hospital with the infection the week after the mc the doctor said my cervix was still open a bit but maybe it's closed up now? I'll ask her to check if I go back.
Not sure I could persuade DH to BD when I'm still bleeding but if my cervix is closed I will see if I can change his mind ;)

To be fair, we were on holiday the first week of October so that probably made my temps all wacky last cycle as it was right around OV time.

LOL or maybe I'm rubbish at interpreting CM? :p right now I definitely know it's EWCM, I've never seen it so stretchy and clear...

Thanks for looking, that's really nice of you!

Yeah that could be why because if you were abroad then obviously jet lag could affect it, and even if you werent, you would have been in a different room with different temperature etc.

Last month I went to my nans around time of ovulation and I was way hotter in her house (it was the October heatwave too), so that messed up my temps somewhat as wel as taking my temp at the wrong time so I had to draw a line in on FF myself and there was really a 3 day period where it could have happened!

But it does seem like maybe you ovulated later than you thought because otherwise your luteal phase would have been really quite long.

Hi guys, have read up but don't have a lot to add, other than that I hope it was ok today kitten pie :o

Mil has had another scan and has been told she "has to" have an op, we were told today, as "without it, her life expectancy is zero" :(

And DH and I are seeing the doc, about going back to the gynae, tomorrow

Slice of stress-cake with that worry-tea, anyone? :o

I deeply suspect I'll be going back to lurking, for the most part, atm. Hope everyone is ok  and we get some bfps to cheer me/us up soon ;)

Sorry to hear about your MIL, I hope the operation goes well.

    Good luck at the doctors.

    Morning all.

Well CD13, was going to post a pic of my CBFM test sticks but not been able to. Thought I could copy & paste a pic - can't I?

Anyway, still on high (usually 25-27 day cycle) & they show
    CD6 to 8 - one dark line
    CD9/10 - no line
CD11 - one lighter line than day 6 to 8
    CD 12/13 - no line

What does anyone make of this?

Am definately making sure the absorbant side gets wet.

I'm fairly sure that I didn't get two lines at all last month (and never showed a peak).

We have DTD on Monday & Wednesday. FF shows that I am now at my most fertile based on cycle times.

Why is this so difficult? Have spent all of my life not wanting a baby, why do I want one now?

Hugs to all that need them.
