Sounds a bit like my sisters friend who is a midwife and had to do a lot of home visits as part of her training.

She always has to try really hard to bite her tongue about certain situations and horrendous things she sees.

The funniest/oddest was once she went round someones house and they were all sat on plastic garden chairs as furniture

Really sorry to hear about your buyer Gemma. Buying and selling our home is by far the most stressful time I have ever experienced. Hope you find someone new soon.

Oooo Gemma let us know if you find anything interesting in your books?

I'm a bit fed up looking for signs of the mysterious eggy but looking back on previous charts I'm getting paranoid that I was misinterpreting them and actually OVing on CD20ish rather than 17ish which is possibly why we haven't had a BFP? At this point am prolly just overthinking out of desperation. Hoping I can wrangle DH for 1 last BD session for our 'window' this month as I'm not confident I've OVed yet even though I should've. I hate this second-guessing!

*hugs* for AFs arriving today and special hugs for emsbet

Emsbet, I hope the bleeding stops soon, if you are worried could you call NHS DIrect? They may put your mind at rest?

Thanks. It seems a bit better this evening (oh I've so jinxed myself now! :o) so I'm just going to wait it out.

No TTC news from me, although our buyer pulled out on Monday, so now we have a stupidly high mortgage and a spare house. Was very upset Mon/Tues but OK today. Nothing we can do so no point in dwelling on it. Just not sure what we are going to do now for money, etc.

Oh no! I hope you find another buyer soon!

Do you temp and/or use OPKs? I found that the best way to pinpoint ov as I don't always get lots of EWCM.

On the chart that says sept 16th, it looks like maybe you ovulated CD24?? Although that doesnt fit with your CM. Or perhaps CD19 - but then your temp went down after it went up?

Then on the chart that says Oct 22, it looks like you could have ovulated CD16 but your temp went down again?

I can see why you are confused!

To be fair, we were on holiday the first week of October so that probably made my temps all wacky last cycle as it was right around OV time.

LOL or maybe I'm rubbish at interpreting CM? :p right now I definitely know it's EWCM, I've never seen it so stretchy and clear...

Thanks for looking, that's really nice of you!

On the bleeding emsbet if it hasn't stopped by 6 weeks and cervix is closed and you definitely have no infection, I would be inclined to ask if you have all clear to start bding again anyway. Sometimes bleeding after a birth is just hormonal and not a sign of anything wrong.

When I had my first child I bled for 17 weeks immediately afterwards, and only stopped when I fell pregnant with my second! The bleeding was quite light by the end and obviously I was ovulating but didn't know it before that. Even if your cycle doesn't start unbeknownst to you like mine did, it might help get back to normality. I think the only reason they want you to wait until bleeding stops is because of the risk of infection if your cervix is still slightly open, but if it's closed it might be ok?
