Thanks mrs. That post just made me well up at work!! Luckily I have a streaming cold so just pretended I needed to sneeze a bit! When I went to Asda to buy her a test I also bought eclairs so we are eating them now (not that I can taste them).
Thanks everyone else too xxx I've got a feeling it's going to be a long night!

Quick update, didnt go to the shop in the end. I decided that, although patience is a virtue I lack, I should wait until tomorrow as poor hubby was knackered after his long work day and I didnt want to go on my own! ha

hello hello, chatty ladies tonight! Am pretty sure today is 1DPO day but we DTD this evening just in case...poor DH feels ill and I still made him - took some convincing but we got there in the end! :rotfl: :rotfl: normally he'd leap all over himself if I said, "honey, we neeeeeed to have s3x!" will know after a few more temps, but hopefully we're into the 2ww (17 days for me, HMPH) as I don't have the energy for anymore BDing, LOL. I don't do the OPK malarky :p

I was reading the Sperm Meets Egg thingee than Nicki referenced...do they sell the right cough syrup here in the UK for that? I've never looked TBH but I know some medicines are different. I'm definitely doing that if this month isn't a BFP. I have a mission to be pregnant in time for my maternity leave to coincide with the Olympics and I'm running out of time :rotfl: :rotfl:

eta: I thought ICs were some of the lowest sensitivity tests so why do some people have doubts? Genuinely curious.

That video was amazing, The Great Sperm Race on Channel 4. I recommend that everyone watches that. It is amazing that billions of sperm start their journey and only about 20 actually reach the fallopian tubes. It is almost like the film 300, all going to their death unless their is a very strong super sperm.

Its crazy isnt it. I remember watching it when they showed it on tv a couple of years ago, I want to watch it again when I get time.

Its like your body is basically programmed to kill all the invading sperm. Not great for trying to get pregnant!!

Think I'm off to watch the Great Sperm Race, sounds interesting.
Still got indigestion, tried Antacids and Gaviscon to try and calm it, but nothing is working. Only green tea seemed to have calmed it a little, but its coming back since I got in from work not long ago. Grrrr. Driving me potty.

Hi aless. Yes the cough mixture is for sale here, either under brand name Robuttissin, or most of the basic chesty cough mixtures also contain it. The active ingredient in England you are looking for is guaifeninsen and you don't want any other medical ingredients but sugar and flavourings are ok. Things like benylin contain it.

Night all. Sharp pain on right side tonight so I hope that is ovulation and that either I will have a peak tomorrow or a temp shift by Thursday to confirm.

I've had heartburn for days too vesper and it's doing my head in! Seems to pop up for af and ov most frequently for me, I've discovered.

I'm looking forward to a nice lie in in the morning, I'm knackered! Still can't get to sleep very easily, but I think that's a combo of worry about mil and doc appt on thurs and indigestion and af pains....

Eta: not had chance to reply properly, and can't remember what I was going to reply to, and on phone now so harder to do! :p I am reading along but if I've not replied to something specific it's not deliberate, my head's just up my a$s this wk! :o

    Morning all!

No lines on my stick again for CBFM. Def pee'd on the absorbant side of the stick.

Had a line on it yesterday & saw it going blue as the stick absorbed liquid but no line on the previous two days.

Still showing as high & according to FF my peak days are tomorrow onwards. BD'd on Monday & hope to do it tonight as well.

We'll see what the CBFM shows.

    All advice welcome!
