Ooops, newbie ttc-er error! Made myself look silly now :o. Thanks for telling me emsbet.
    x

No question is silly on here! :)
I've developed a new seduction technique. I went to the loo before bed last night, then walked into the bedroom and announced 'I have stretchy mucus!'. It seemed to do the trick :D

    :rotfl::rotfl:
    Thanks for everyones support,

Big Z, im 32 in 11 days time (not that im counting :p) but its more the age gap between our boys who will be 7 and 9 when (if) any baby gets here and I worry what that would do to our family.

We have been NTNP now for around 3 years :o

Congrats (if thats the right word ;)) on the full flow !

All the best mishka, I wouldn't worry too much about the age gap-my son is 15 in a few weeks and I'm here! x

Can you only multiquote a certain number of quotes at a time? I had more ticked?

Hmmm, will try to rely on my memory!

lemonmelon- huge hugs, I hope you are okay, take care of yourself x

bigZ-what as already been said-get whatever help you need-it's the end result that counts, not how you get there :)

Loads of useful mooncup info, thanks ladies x

    Hi ladies (& gent),

Just to follow up on my little work upset that I posted about the other day, well we had our meeting to discuss the future of our jobs. Still have to wait for one more report to be signed off (next few days) but its looking about 99% certain that we will Tupe transfer to the new company on the same Ts & Cs as we are already on...although there may be some 'negotiations' further down the line...

Just wish I could get pg so I could get out of there for a while.... obviously not the most important reason but would be such a bonus to me, believe me!!
Least its looks like it it happens anytime soon I will be able to claim the normal Maternity Pay that we have at the moment...
Feel a little bit better about it all anyway :)

I'm on 10DPO - I keep having urges to do a test but trying to avoid until at least Tuesday!!

Date night tonight. We hadn't made any plans in advance, so I went to meet my OH at his office after work and we discussed what to do. I suggested we go out to the pub/winebar and get frivolously drunk like we used to do when we were in our twenties. He was horrified :rotfl: Must be a sign we are getting old! We ended up going out for a meal instead, but I think I may have at least partially accomplished my first suggestion. My tolerance levels definitely aren't what they once were....

Just got back from work and seeing my friend's new baby (6days old). It's made me realise that we are defintely doing the right thing, he's so adorable. I got loads of cuddles, as he fell straight asleep on me after trying to eat my cardigan (well actually my boob- he was hungry at the time). Now super broody, wasn't even put off by her birthing story.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

    Morning all,

Well I think AF may be on her way out soon. :) She had quite a short visit this time, but with the 4 days of spotting prior to this, I'm not too upset about that. Looking forward to trying this month, as I've told Moon that he has to start taking me out on dates and I'm going to try the drinking thing again too - just hope I don't get the hangover thing as well. ;)

Red cups are back at Starbucks (I love starbucks red cups) and Moon and I went yesterday after my training, as they are BOGOF between 2-5pm. Moon finishes work at 4 today, so we're going again. :) The BOGOF only runs until tomorrow avo, so I'm, making the most of it as £2.95 is quite good for 2 coffees.

Hugs to all who need or want them. I'm off to shower, dress, mealplan for the week and then do the food shop.

    sexymouse xx
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

that might be me this morning ;) The sad thing is by our old standards we didn't even have that much to drink! We had one bottle of red wine with a meal, with nothing else before or afterwards. When I was young in my twenties I could drink a bottle all to myself without food on a Friday evening and feel the way I do this morning! I think with having been recently pregnant and also ttc since the miscarriage and so not having more than the very occasional glass of wine, my tolerance levels are rock bottom. And it doesn't help I still have the remnants of a cold hanging around. Though one benefit of feeling a bit rough at this age, rather than in my early twenties was that my lovely 11 year old son brought me a cup of tea in bed this morning because he noticed I was having a lie in :D

So oldest child has gone off to play with a friend this morning. OH is doing a session with DD and her speech therapist just at the moment and when we have finished we need to take DD and DS2 to have their hair cut :eek::eek:. Neither of them like having this done, and for years DD used to lie on the floor of the shop crying loudly and the hairdresser would cut it like this. Fortunately he had a child with severe learning difficulties himself so he's used to this kind of thing, though his other customers tend not to be! She's better now, in that she will at least stand up, and stay fairly still while he's doing it, though she still cries. DS2 is better but a typically wriggly 2 year old. Fortunately he still doesn't have a lot of hair to cut...

CBFM still high for me this morning, but CP is getting high, and CM is very stretchy (at least 2-3 inches last night) but still white not clear. Presumably old semen doesn't stretch like that and this is the start of fertile CM. Boobs are also getting tender. Am hoping for a peak tomorrow or Sunday which would be CD10 or 11.

What day do others get their first high on CBFM?

I'm on CD8 and it was high from yesterday - although last month it never showed a peak.

I'm expecting my peak to be Wednesday onwards - according to FF.

Last month it was Day 6, and this month day 7. But I have a regular 27-29 day cycle and ovulate around day 12-14. It will depend on your own normal cycle lengths when you get yours, and if you are irregular there may not be a discernible pattern
