I want one but I'm reluctant to spend £20 on it if I'm hoping to get upduff soon, as you have to *cough* 'upgrade' post-birth apparently. Having said that, I spend about £8 per cycle on sanitary protection, so I'd only have to not catch for three cycles for it to be worth it... argh. Someone tell me what to do!Littlezee, :rotfl:at being jealous with people with AF. Hope you caught the eggy though, and the fertility appointment would be to check the heartbeat of the bean:oQQ- yes it collects rain water, i've probably called it the wrong thing tho!

I use a mooncup, and have for a couple of years now. I used to boil mine in a pan, but now I stick mine in the dishwasher too after reading that pigpen did it. I think it says in the booklet that you're not meant to, but I stick it on the top shelf, and it doesn't seem to have affected it. It does make it more like the original colour though, as mine too went a bit yellow after a while (sorry for tmi). Having tried tampons the other month (I still have some in the cupboard and thought I'd try to use them up) I can see why I stopped using them. I had leaks when using the tampons, and although I have to wear a pantyliner when using the mooncup (I do occasionally get a little leak if it's really heavy and I've not emptied it quickly enough) just in case, I think they're great. Another pro is that there is no association with toxic shock syndrome, and you can put it in overnight for example, if you think AF may arrive in the night, without causing any harm.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

interesting about the Mooncup, I boil mine and it is a bit yellow. We rarely run the dishwasher but maybe once a month I can put it on
. I changed sizes after Finn was born, the other one basically fell out!
lol I love it and it's definitely the best investment I've ever made!
I had EWCM this morning, so will be telling DH the eggy is on its way! :T Unfortunately, Finn is being sicky at the moment (no idea, we think it's something he ate?) so I hope this doesn't hamper BDing plans!top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne
would like to win a holiday, please!!

I really hope this happens soon for your Mishka. I can understand why you'd want a break (I can't remember how old you are?), hopefully it will happen either before New Year, or when you're not expecting it and therefore relaxed, and it's just "meant to be"
Would NTNP be any easier on you?
Wishing you all the best too
Thanks for everyones support,
Big Z, im 32 in 11 days time (not that im counting) but its more the age gap between our boys who will be 7 and 9 when (if) any baby gets here and I worry what that would do to our family.
We have been NTNP now for around 3 years
Congrats (if thats the right word) on the full flow !

Thanks to everyone for their info on mooncups, I feel a lot more informed now
Mishka, I wouldn't worry about that age gap - my lovely auntie has a 12 year age gap between her two because she has PCOS and various other fertility problems and it doesn't seem to have been a problem. My cousin (who is 18) dotes on her baby brother (who is 6) and he loves his big sister loads. Became Mrs W in 2011:smileyhea Blessed with Baby boy 1 in 2013, Baby boy 2 in 2016 and Baby boy 3 in 2018 :smileyheaDebt @ 19/8/11 [STRIKE]£20,060 [/STRIKE] current £0Paid off 100% :dance:0
