sounds like a farce to me Id take it somewhere else now! My DH needed his ring made smaller and the guy at the local jewellers did it in half an hour. We just went off to a couple of shops whilst we waited. Another place where I got another ring I used to wear made smaller, did it 1 hour.

    7 days is a joke!
Wow I so better ring (har har) them tomorrow. I wouldn't have mind if they had stuck to what they said. 7 days ok. So I made a trip in specifically for it and then to be told up to 14! I am not off now til Friday so I shall say if they can't have it done by then I will pick it up on Friday and take elsewhere.

Squirrel - I'm a similar age to you and want to get on with things asap too so I can imagine this is pretty horrid for you. What are the chances of all being ok if you had to look on the brightside?

Sorry if i've missed anything but have only just got in from work and still have tea to make so have skim read.

speaking of when babies are born I was born on the 31st of August at 11:56pm I was the youngest in my year and the tallest female (I'm 6ft2) had i been born 5 minutes later I would have been the eldest in the year but it would have been the year below. i've always wondered what happens when a baby is born on a leap day though, do the parents get to choose the date x

Having just googled leapyear birthdays ikkle, apparently they do have the choice of 28th Feb or 1st March, but most choose the latter as it's the day following the 28th February.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Glad the new job is going well 2B, a change is always good. What is it doing? I'm sure you have said and it has just fallen out of my brain

emsbet/ Rebekah - hope you are both good this evening. We are all here for you should you need any support/ a rant/ stupid stories that have happened to us all to cheer you up

Another one of my friends today has told me she is pg, very happy for her, she had a mc in June and now 10 weeks so been a tough time for her (she hadn't said anything before).

One of my conception books has arrived today, firdt chapter about what to and what not to eat- bet you can't guess what I am doing!:o

I have decided I will be pg by christmas, even if I have to resort to abusing DH in his sleep:rotfl:, the more people I know who are PG the more I ache inside

Started work on my degree today, apparently i am a pragmatist, which I guess explains my TTC attitude and lack of patience!

QQ- can I guess 8 for November?

DH not home yet from his DIY duties so will get on with some more reading I think.

Unfortunately no caffeine (including chocolate), no alcohol, no processed food, v little meat/ poultry, lots of whole grains, fish and lots of fruit, veg and water. very nutritious but not very exciting either!

Its getting pregnant faster by Dr marilyn clenville, not sure if anyone else has read it. Got a few more coming from amazon, got them 2nd hand. Hoping they are for sale as they worked before!

    :) Hello ladies and gent,
What a lot to catch up on tonight-emsbet-don't go! I totally agree with what everyone else has said :D
    lemonmelon-how are you feeling?
hugs to anyone who needs one, I have read back, but I have study brain tonight and can't remember what I have read :o

Not much going on with me-I was in a foul mood last night and as usual poor mrhappy got the brunt of it, he usually works backshift but did a (short) dayshift yesterday, he was still in bed when I went to work and was home by 5! I was sooo annoyed as I had been up since silly o'clock, got DS up and organised, did the ironing, washed dishes and put on a washing before going to work, did a day at work, popped home ar lunchtime to put another washing on, picked DS up, went to visit my SIL and niece, went shopping, got in at 7 to find mrhappy sitting chilling out and asking what was for dinner  made dinner, tidied up, sorted washing and drying etc etc while mrhappy and DS did f*** all. To make it worse I'm around ov time so couldn't even rant at him incase he took a huff and declined my BDing advances:rotfl:
Ooooops, I didn't mean to rant that much! sorry

anyway, I had my flu jab today and have been having quite painful ov pains, so still grumpy, but will be putting a smile on my face and hopefully do the seducing/forcing BDing tonight!
A bit strange, but for my last few cycles I have noticed that around ov I feel pretty yukky, bloated, sore, tired and I usually get a runny nose, none of which really puts me in the mood, but hey ho, needs must, time to get some lippy on in the hope of getting jiggy tonight :D
