Trying for a Baby Part 7

Usually it would but because the chances of the baby's heart stopping after 11 weeks is 1% and we were in that 1%
I know and I am so so sorry that this happened to you. My first loss was at 17 weeks and it is horrifying when you think you are as safe as you can be, and it all still goes horribly wrong.
But you have to hold on to the fact (and it is a fact) that the chances of this happening to you again are very very small if you want to try again. That won't stop you worrying throughout the pregnancy of course, though I would hope you would get extra antenatal care next time round, but it is the only way to keep your sanity intact.
And its fine to be fragile. Its still early days. I'm fragile too some days and I am about 3 weeks further into the grieving process, and already have children to help take my mind off things.0 -

Thanks. I know you are right and when I'm feeling a bit more emotionally stable I will hopefully start believing it
I will get extra care next time - I will be seen by EPU and scanned at 6, 9 and 12 weeks and also will be under consultant care. I know this won't stop anything going wrong but it may help to keep me from worrying too much and also if anything does go wrong I won't be left carrying my baby around for two weeks after:o
Hopefully next time we will get our forever baby but if we don't at least they will start testing to try and maybe understand what is going wrong.

DD has just arrived downstairs with a big bottle of bubbles! So I didn't manage to pull the wool over her eyes and send her to bed at 6pm after all. Will give her 20 minutes and send her up again with her big brother whose bedtime is 8.15 on a non school night. The baby, bless him, is sparko. Though I may have forgotten to switch the baby alarm on
(I am having a bad bad mother day today
)
So, off to keep DD entertained. Bye for now.0 -
maybe it did say that and I read it wrong which I guess is more likely than the doctor mis-reading itit's only 2dpo, so I don't think/won't I can even contemplate it or symptom spot!I'm sure somebody will know, but what's the difference between a red dotted line and the other permanent red line on FF?I'm actually feeling quite a bit better, yay! I can at least swallow and concentrate now and my new job were lovely about me being sick on my first day! But it's so strange, just a few hours ago, I was feeling SO bad, worse than I have done in a long time and now it's gone. I wonder if I caught a 12/24 hour virus? This makes sense as anything ending in ITIS means inflammation.Ive just realised I read mine wrong.
It was 80% ovulatory, 13% miscarriage and 8% pregnancy:o:o:o

Hello everyone,
Hope everyone is okay,
hugs emsbet, you are entitled to have fragile days, hope you start feeling better soon
Just have a quick q for the ladies who have children, does your NHS maternity exemption certificate entitle you to all dental treatment free? As far as I knew it did, but a friend has just had to pay at the dentist and was told it only covered certain treatments. From what I have googled there aren't any restrictions. I don't know what she had done, but I think that having to pay when having an exemption is a bit pants0 -
Hello!
I'm venturing onto this thread for the first time and I feel very excited and very nervous.
I've only read a few pages but it sounds like there can be a lot of ups and downs on the way. There are some tough stories out there and I wish those ladies the best.
OH and I got married in June and we agreed I can come off the pill in Nov with a view to start trying properly come Xmas. In my head I'm trying now though! I'm 31 in Feb and OH is 35 in Nov so I reckon its a good idea to to get on with it. I've been on folic acid for a 2.5 months and I recently lost 5 stone. (Keeping it off is another matter) and gave up smoking a year or so ago so I should be in pretty good shape.
There's a lot of lingo to learn if nothing else!
I hope to get to know some of you on here!
