It refers to testing with the first wee of the day - does it matter if I've 'been' during the night?
I am thinking that I set the time i.e. 7.00am, but if I go at 3.00am I don't test that but wait until 7.00am (or within three hours).
I will be reading the manual again - but you guys are far easier to ask!:TI think I'm going to try and shift another stone, maybe by Christmas, and then go back to the gynae if there's no BFP by then. I'm more confident they'd prescribe it at that point too.0 -
Quote (You can. But can't you pee again at 7am too? It only needs to be peed on for 3 secs.)
I can pee again at 7.00am - am actually awake then too so would be better to test. Just wanted to be sure that this was ok!0 -
I had clomid for 6 cycles when ttc my first. To be honest after 6 cycles without a BFP I was ready to try something else, and would have been less than impressed to be told to persevere with it for another 6 months. By the time you get to the point of it being prescribed, you have usually been trying unsuccessfully for at least a year anyway, so another year on this just delays things further.
Also, my experience was that clomid was the first thing offered before any serious investigations. When I had it, I think OH had one sperm analysis and I had had day 21 tests and a scan and been diagnosed with PCOS. But the other more in depth investigations like lap and dye were not offered until after clomid had stopped. This may depend on your doctor and where you live though. All our fertility treatment was private and the NHS protocol might be different.
I suppose it is nice to have options, but if clomid IS only offered by your doctor for 6 months, that isn't necessarily a bad thing. For most people, if it's going to work, it will do so in 6 months of well timed trying, and if it hasn't your chances of successfully conceiving in the next 6 monthd are probably greater on another drug regimen or after further treatment0 -

I have another question for Nicki or anyone else that has already done maternity leave......
In regards to statutory maternity pay how does this get paid to you by your employer? As SMP is a weekly benefit and most employers pay their staff monthly do they work out what should be paid per month or does the amount very depending on whether it's been a 4 or 5 week month?0 -
Hello ladies, just popping in quickly to let you know I'll probably be testing on Sunday. Feeling very sick today (most likely a bug), I've been sent home from work with it, so not going in tomorrow either. I've had a pretty crappy week at work and I've been asked twice by different people if I'm pg, because I'm unusually emotional (probably AF on her way.) Everything BD wise was pretty well timed so you never know. Time will tell. As you've been discussing the last few days, it's pretty pointless testing early so I'll have to resist until Sunday at the earliest.

I don't know if I ov'd or not:huh:
I have jetlag, and the bed and duvet is different.
The CD18 temp which looks like an ov dip was taken at 17:30 after a nap:p Couldn't take it in the morning, as I was flying.
I suppose I'll know if my temps falls, or AF arrives:o0
