Dh also came home from seeing Mil earlier and said "mum said ' I could have cried for you and bigzippy the other day'" so I asked why, and he said it was because I'd mentioned to her about this mate of ours (who announced yesterday on fb) being pregnant, and she was upset for us. Dh replied to her "I did, mum" :( Bless them both. :o :A

Aww that's so sweet, you're lucky to have such a supportive family. The perfect family to bring a baby into :D I'm feeling less "meh", thanks for asking. Think I'm a bit under the weather and tired which doesn't help mood but I'm ok :)

:T well done tinkwings, MUCH better to be bding than fighting!

    Welcome Morocha!

12 dpo and BFN on a super drug own brand :(. I think I am out this month. I know early tests are less reliable but personally I've never had a false negative, and the super drug one is supposed to measure HCG from 10mui so should have been positive by now if I was pregnant.

Have appointment with obstetrician on Tuesday to follow up after miscarriage. Wonder if he will have any advice then, but I doubt it. Hopefully by that time AF will be on her way out again, and I'll be able to focus on gearing up to try again. Will make sure I have batteries for my CBFM today I think and check it still works after all this time, as I haven't used it since I was trying for DS2, who is now 2.

    Good morning, another lovely day:wave:

BB1984, hope you had a nice BD yesterday:)
Littlezee, good on your DH to abstain from alcohol:cool:
Your DH could have some issues too, but hope not:)
You are lucky to have such a sympathetic MIL:o
    Tinkwings, glad you made up:j

sexymouse, thanks, I'm missing DH, like one do but also for the fact that I haven't ov'd yet:o

CBFM arrived today - delivered to work in a plain brown box! Also ordered sticks (didn't know how many came with it) and some ICs.

Can't wait to get home to read the instructions. I think I am a week away from CD1 which I believe is when I start using it.

Need to have a chat with DH about how much he wants to know about the 'mechanics' of TTC. Think he's just interested in the BDing part of it. :)

As I don't want to get my hopes up about success, we haven't had any discussions about what it would be like to have a baby etc.

Is it strange that we are not talking about it? He's a typical bloke in that he doesn't like discussing emotions & I'm quite down to earth so that probably influences the lack of 'giddyness'. Not sure how well I'm explaining myself on this!

    Any ideas on conversation starters?

You don't get any sticks with the monitor, so good job you ordered some. You also need 4AAA batteries, so if you've not got any at home, you may need to get some of these too.

My DH was fascinated by the CBFM, which in turn led him to learning about the cycle etc. It is a gadget after all! lol Maybe that could be your conversation starter - setting up the machine, and giving him the instuction booklet to help you set it up etc. My DH has talked about it more now we've been trying for a while, and has become more open with his emotions, so don't worry too much at his lack of response. As long as you're sure he definitely wants a baby?
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Less than you methinks. 500Mg twice a day.

clomid might do qq, but now I know you only get it for 6 months, I want to give myself every possible chance with it, iyswim? Plus I think I still have one or 2 bmi points to drop before I'll be more confident that they'll prescribe it...

Yes, I take 3 lots of the 500mg at bedtime.

The consultant I saw to remove my pre-cancerous cells is also the fertility specialist and it was him who suggested increasing my dosage and my GP agreed.

You weigh less than me though so maybe two doses is correct for you.

With regards to clomid I think you can do more than 6 cycles of clomid. I've seen a few people mentioning 7 cycles.

I also asked my GP about only having it for 6 cycles and she said that she could "forget" that she'd given me 6 cycles already if needed. I think my GP is a bit of a rebel though and I think they say 6 cycles as clomid has risks of ovarian cancer.
