Wish there were:o Mum got pg on her 1st or 2nd try on all her 4 pregnancies (1 mc, and had to have her tubes cleared after that), so it didn't influence me:oIs there likely to be any link for me? I'm sure my book said something about the family/inherited influences but I can't for the life of me find it anywhere! Thanks
Like sexymouse said, there are variety of factors including your DH:o
Also, half of you is your dad:cool:
Yay for High!:jFirst high on CBFM today,I've not had a single booking so far! It's similar to being on the 2ww. lol
Lovely:happyhearThink Moon is excited about DTD tonight - last night he was very affectionate and also called me "Mummy to be"

It went down from 36.2 to 36.1. I don't get it at all. There's a definitely CM wetness of some kind too - that I didnt have yesterday/day before, BUT I dont think its EWCM.
I haven't tried an OPK, do you think I should when I get home in 4 hours?
My body is playing tricks with me! This must be the PCOS

I'd try OPK again in case it is surging again. If you ov today, then yesterday's insemination would still work.
Is it common for it to surge a few times? I thought I had a surger earlier on in my cycle too when I had an abundant amount of CM.
I'm itching to get home and do an OPK now. *drums fingers* - 3 hours til I can leave.....

Morning all

Belated congratulations to 2ttb3 :j :j :j
Welcome to B-girl
Hope your stay here is short and sweet, in the nicest possible way
Not much going on here, just wanted to pop in and say hello
Am 8 DPO and trying not to think too much about testing early - it's not really working though TBH. Please tell me the 2ww's get easier as time goes on, although I think I probably already know they don't :rotfl:
Had a lovely weekend doing absolutely nothing, now on countdown to Friday
Just a quick Q, not that I am planning to ofc, but when technically is the earliest I can test? Am still hoping to wait until Sunday but if the curiosity gets the better of me, I don't want to be wasting money on tests that have no chance of telling me anything

With PCOS, yes, it can surge but not ov. So the follicle becomes a cyst, and another follicle tries again. Thus creating polycystic ovaries and long and irregular cycles:oIs it common for it to surge a few times? I thought I had a surger earlier on in my cycle too when I had an abundant amount of CM.
Normal people can get two surges, but it is usually withing 24hrs of the 1st surge, and it can release two eggs.
It doesn't get easier:pjovichick123 wrote: »Please tell me the 2ww's get easier as time goes on, although I think I probably already know they don't :rotfl:
Earliest would be 12DPO, but if you implanted early, then some get BFP at 8DPO:oJust a quick Q, not that I am planning to ofc, but when technically is the earliest I can test? So now firmly in the 2ww. This is the bit I hate most. Have been googling frantically for any "tips" to help implantation if the eggie has been caught. So far I've come up with pineapples, walnuts and grape juice all being good foods, and to eat like you are pregnant in terms of caffeine and alcohol intake amongst other things. Anyone else got any more?
I'm having something of a morning of it. I am going to a funeral at 1.30 today (an elderly neighbour, so not anyone very close to me) and had voluntereed to bring a cake with me for the post committal tea. All was going well, and I just went to take it out of the oven to let it cool in plenty of time, to find that my DS2 had very helpfully turned the oven down from 180 to 100 as he toddled round the kitchen! So I withdrew this horrid liquidy flat mess. Effort 2 is now in the oven but not due out for another 20 minutes so I hope I have time to let it cool and decorate it before I have to leave. DS1 asked me in all seriousness last night whether I would have to ice it with black icing as it was a funeral, I think he's going to be a goth in a few years. DS1 is currently glued to Mr Blooms Nursery so hopefully the cake will be safe until it is cooked...0
