Wishing this 2ww away, trying to keep busy but not be too hard on myself, its been a lovely weekend anyway spending time with my family and OH. Had a trial run of cakes today for my friends wedding and they look lovely so I'm happy
Hope you've all had a lovely weekend and Monday morning is not too harsh for you0 -
Thanks lemonmelon..I feel a bit of a fraud though as I haven't really started trying yet
Plan is to get cracking in September. OH has been quite ill recently, he collapsed a few weeks ago and was rushed off to hospital with what turned out to be a perforated appendix. It was nasty, but could have been a lot worse.
As a result though, ttc is off the agenda at the moment as he recuperates, but I do like to follow the thread and Q had kindly added me in to the list. It helps me keep track of where in my cycle more often than not
On the sidelines cheering everyone on though. :TMetranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Hello ladies not been able to come on here much lately as have family visiting. Just popping along to say yesterday i spotted a tiny bit so is that CD1 or do I wait till its more obvious. I often spot for 2-3 days before I feel like I am having AF properly wih cramps and full flow etc.
Anyway, this will be first AF since the ectopic so quite excited as will be trying the soya to see if I can sort out the late ovulation thing.

morning all. cd2 for me today, took my temp for the first time, couldn't do it yesterday as my little girl had me up in the night and in bed with her so i didn't have the thermometer to hand when i woke up. I suppose missing the first day won't hurt. Today was 36.4, looking forward to getting af out of the way so we can start practicing our bd again!0

Welcome binkyboo
Hugs for everyone with BFNs and AFJojo, you should class CD1 as full flow
I'm in the 2ww now and feeling a bit down about it all. On Saturday we had a family lunch with OH's lot and I mentioned that he's 30 next year and so started the comments that 'He said he'd have a baby by 30 so what's going on...?' Luckily OH quickly turned it around to ask his brother when he was going to propose to his GF and have babies with her!We then went to see a friend that we've not seen in months and he said that he'd expected us to have a baby by now and 'hurry up already' so once again OH asked him when he'd be marrying his new GF (who was there) and when he started to get all flustered OH said 'Oh, have I asked an awkward personal question?!' to which our friend had the grace to look ashamed and said 'Point taken!'
It doesn't help that there seems to be a baby boom in my town right now (or maybe it's always the same but all I see now are babies and bumps because I so desperately want one of my own?!) and there was a 2 month old girl in my line of sight all the way through our family lunch and I was just thinking that should be us with *our* baby.
Oh and my manager has just told us that she's going to be a grandma again... last year her DD got PG by accident and this time it's her son's GF, they don't even live together! *Stamps feet* it's not fair, I have a mortgage, a husband and a plan so why can't it happen for me?!
Oh well, onwards and upwards, got my CD21-on-CD25 blood test on Friday so at least that'll get the ball rolling so we can find out if there is something wrong.Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -
birdie85 I think everyone feels this way when they are trying, you notice babies everywhere and everyone you know seems to have one or be having one! It is difficult to handle, because mine is starting school soon everyone starts to wonder when you'll have your next and start with the questions! when you are young people say don't be unprotected or you'll get yourself pregnant by so much as looking at some sperm, it is not until you are older and really look into the whole process that you realise what a miracle it is to actually get pregnant at all. people who aren't ttc and have never been in that situation just don't understand how hard the whole process can be for some people.0
