feeling the fustration, the latest beggar for me is stealth pregnancies on facebook! people who don't announce, and then just whoops, there's a picture of them 8 months pregnant. makes it all look so so easy
had a lovely birthday meal, even though friend C invited her friend N who insisted on bringing her 2 year old and partner without saying! well, sorry, i got a message to say '*child's name* wants to come to' and i said i didn't want her there but lo and behold, her and the boyfriend show up. thank gosh the restaurant thought we'd said more people than were actually going anyway cos it was packed as it was! mentioned it to C when we was alone and she said 'yeah, i thought that cos i wouldn't want her at mine and she didn't come to N's either. but i didn't mention it to her and i thought it was strange of you to say cos you love kids'. rawr
had a great night though, got some lovely presents, including a cath kidston stitch! book so i'm halfway through my first embroidery projectoh and one of the girls got me a pair of fertility idols! luckily they don't look like fertility idols (ie no big dongs or bwbs) just like african tribal dolls so i'll stick them on my bedside drawers. couldn't hurt x x

Morning ladies... how is it monday again?? I'm sure we get more mondays than any other day!
Am knackered already today as kept having v odd dreams last night, so despite getting lots of sleep I feel like I haven't as I think I was flapping around all night. At one point I even had a dream about a recent graduate of this thread! Maybe I spend too much time here lol.
Think this is the slowest 2ww ever as I know we're not in with a chance this month. Just want AF to show up so I can start the clomid and get ourselves back in the running.
Heard an interesting talk in church yesterday about Sarah. Sarah was 90 when she got pg, and her husband was 99!! Obviously a bit of old testament artistic licence there lol but the main point was about having faith and patience. Definitely things I need to work on!0 -
Faith and patience indeed!
Thanks for the info on CD1 Birdie, will wait for full flow before I start charting then.2015 wins: Jan: Leeds Castle tickets; Feb: Kindle Fire, Years supply Ricola March: £50 Sports Direct voucher April: DSLR camera June: £500 Bingo July: £50 co-op voucher0 -

Still no temp rise for me- cd19 now and last positive opk was cd 15. So dont know if I ovulated or not - temps would suggest I didnt! Do you always have a temp rise after ov or is it possivle for temps to stay in the same range?0

Hello!
Do you mind if I join you lovely ladies?! Have been following this thread for a few months and finally feel like I can jump in!
This is my first month temping (3rd month trying), i'm a bit paranoid that i'm not Ov'ing - no reason other than I only have one ovary so i've convinced myself that it's dodgy! I'm also guilty of symptom spotting alot in the 2ww, i'm determined not to this month though ... we'll see how long that lasts
Married 8 months and this will be our first, today i'm on CD9.
Hugs to all those on CD1 and good luck for those waiting to test x0 -
Please send me good vibes ladies.
I am having a chat with my boss later about my workload being too much and me needing a break.
I might end up having to resign.14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

Yes, your temp has to rise. That is the *only* way to confirm ovulation. OPK's only detect a surge in LH (which can happen more than once in a cycle).14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -
lily - big hugs sweetie, will be thinking of you. Hope you get the outcome you want from the meeting. Take care x.
miss maid - hello! Hope your stay here is short (in the nicest possible way of course lol).0 -

Good luck (and have a dodgy hug - always a good start to a Monday) :grouphug:
I'm glad I didn't listen to you and resisted the temptation to POAS - would have hated seeing the blank testCharts always look good if you look at them enough - you end up twisting them so they say what you want them to say.
