All I did differently was 1. Take baby aspirin each day (my periods were v light) and 2. Relax!
  • Marie, what's the rational for the asprin? I was thinking about it if we get pregnant again but not sure about taking it yet? Thanks

It was prescribed in my precOnception clinic to help with my womb lining. In scans I had during my mc, the lining was thin and I had very light and short periods. The aspirin Is thought to increase blood flow to uterus and help thicken lining. It may be a coincidence, but in 2 years of ttc, I try aspirin and four weeks later bfp!!!

Mse alert too... Aspirin 75mg is in £1 shop! Would recommend seeing doc about it first tho!

Not too bad. Still achey/ tender but no pain. AF due in the next day or so - hope it's an easy one!
    Glad the pain is subsiding:o
Was told to wear surgical stockings for 4 weeks - we'll see if I last 4 days!

Enjoyed a day on the sofa yesterday but will try & get a bit more mobile today. Have got accupuncture booked for later - if I feel up to driving. If I don't feel like it I will move it to tomorrow.
    Enjoy your time off:)
I go out and have a darn good time with very little baby talk unless I am specifically asked how DS is doing etc. I find people who bang on and on endlessly about their kids tedious to say the least, and in fact I'd bore myself if I had nothing else to talk about!
There are loads of people who talk about their kids all the time:o
Even really old people, like those with grand kids can go on and on.
Where as I'm just thinking 'come on...get it over and done with so I can cycle my legs in the air for 10 mins! :rotfl:
    He he me too:D

He managed to flush the tubes with water at second attempt.

Mucus/ placque was removed along with some endometriosis so now clear.
Sounds like he's done a good job, looks like BFP sometime this year:cool:

OOo good tip maire1 - ive heard of people taking baby aspirin for TTC but didnt know what it was for! I have very light periods too, one day of proper flow and the next is light. I might start taking it from today, (am 4DPO), you never know it may help..

Though I dont have baby aspirin - will cutting a normal aspirin in 4 do the trick?
We got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic. ;)

I have a random question (again!)... the aspirin comments have got me thinking.

CD1 is counted as the first day with red blood. So if there's a couple of days spotting beforehand, or old blood, this doesn't count. Is the same true at the end of AF? Is the last day of your period the last one with red blood, or the last one with anything other than clear/white cm?

Consultant just phoned me to tell me what he did.

Will arrange to see him again in a few weeks.

    This sounds excellent.

    Hope you're recovering well x

Never thought about the end of AF. Does anyone ever ask?
I just record it on FF as light, medium, high and spotting.

The FS asked at my last appt. I said 6 or 7 days but that's till the end of everything, the end of red blood is more like 4 days. Just wondered if it made a difference in terms of the lining being thick enough.
