I am trying to recreate the cycle which got me the good egg (OK, so it didn't work, but it came further than other eggs:p).
And this is my plan:

Cut out carbs for breakfast & dinner (or something like that).
Cut out sugary stuff as much as possible.
20 mins running every day.
Stretches and sit-ups before bed.
Pregnacare and DHEA.

I'll continue with this until the next IVF whenever it will be:cool:

Maire, did you do anything different this cycle?:)
RazWaz, you should visit your donor as soon as you get +OPK. Ideally that day or the next.
Once OPKs starts to get darker, I'd test perhaps 4 times from the early afternoon to just before bed. Good luck:)

Thanks for asking QQ.

Not too bad. Still achey/ tender but no pain. AF due in the next day or so - hope it's an easy one!

Hospital didn't book me in for follow up appt as they said the consultant hadn't requested it. I've e mailed him this morning to find out if I need an appt.

I have to have the stitches out on Tuesday, but this is just at GP.

Was told to wear surgical stockings for 4 weeks - we'll see if I last 4 days!

Enjoyed a day on the sofa yesterday but will try & get a bit more mobile today. Have got accupuncture booked for later - if I feel up to driving. If I don't feel like it I will move it to tomorrow.

Sorry to jump in, but just read squirrels post, and honestly I cannot believe that some people who have kids just suddenly will forget their old friends and only bother themselves with other parent friends!

to me that just seems such a ridiculous thing to do! Amongst my close group of friends, I am the only one who has a child. For some reason most of my friends don't want kids, and as we are all in our late 30's/early 40's, it seems that is unlikely to change. However I make time to see my friends regularly. There is no way I would shun any of them just because they don't have kids, and when I do make time to see them I usually leave OH to babysit and I go out and have a darn good time with very little baby talk unless I am specifically asked how DS is doing etc. I find people who bang on and on endlessly about their kids tedious to say the least, and in fact I'd bore myself if I had nothing else to talk about!

Just on the point about OH's being crap at getting it on at the right time - I am SO with you! I sometimes think it would be so much easier and less frustrating if we women could procreate without the need of a man! For my OH it's all about the 'performance' and if he feels pressurised, it ain't gonna happen. Where as I'm just thinking 'come on...get it over and done with so I can cycle my legs in the air for 10 mins! :rotfl:

We haven't begun ttc again yet, but I know that the anxiety of DTD at the right time/having to try and get myself and even worse OH in the mood for some hanky panky when we'd both rather lie on the sofa and watch tv, is on its way!

Consultant just phoned me to tell me what he did.

He managed to flush the tubes with water at second attempt.

Mucus/ placque was removed along with some endometriosis so now clear.

Will arrange to see him again in a few weeks.
