(((hugs codemonkey))) I'd definitely get it checked out if you have abdominal pain and AF like bleeding so soon after AF - For your peace of mind if nothing else but it shouldn't be ignored.
Sorry I feel a bit irrational when people have symptoms like this because of my history - I'm sure its absolutely noting to worry about but dont be an idiot like me and ignore it :-)0 -
lemonmelon wrote: »Hello Lily - hope you're doing well. If they do CD21 bloods on the day you ovulate then yes the progesterone levels are going to be really low but I'd still do it. You might be surprised and have the test show you ov'd earlier and if not it'll confirm you have a really short LP and they'll be able to help with that. They can always do them again next month if needed but you might get a solution sooner than that :-)
I'm doing okay thank you, I hope you are doing well too.:A
Thank you for that reply - that is exactly what I wanted to know! I had to take DS with me to the doctors and the GP was more interested in him than talking to me! Grr. Anyway, I know the bloods will help either way; by dismissing or confirming my late ovulation theory.
Thank you again lovely :T:T14th October 201020th October 20113rd December 20130 -

I'm getting worried now. Bleeding is heavier and more red and cramps are back. They're sharper and less draggy than AF cramps. Should I go to the doctor or is that overreacting to what is probably just a thing? Is it possible to have AF then no AF for a couple of days then AF again? I also feel really sick. Confused.
I didn't see you had replied, hope you are okay
How long ago did AF stop? If you are in severe pain and it doesn't feel like AF to you, I would go and get seen. Is there anyway it could be a ..m/c ?

DH says so too, but I'm so fed up of going to the doctor and being told there's nothing wrong. Always feel like a total hypochondriac.
I'm fairly new around these parts lemon, if you don't mind me asking, what is your history?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Code monkey that's happened to me a few times, that it's stopped and started again, but never with cramps but I dont get them anyway. I was always under the impression it was in the realms of normal but that's maybe normal for my family iyswim x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Tested at 14dpo and 15dpo with ic and both were bfns. Last day of AF was CD4 as normal. Last night (CD8) noticed some spotting and cramping, quite clotty and today it's more red and making it to my pants and the cramps are worse. It's almost like the bleeding I get the day before AF but with different cramps.Code monkey that's happened to me a few times, that it's stopped and started again, but never with cramps but I dont get them anyway. If AF came (and went) as normal I guess it's not a m/c. I don't know what to suggestMaybe it's just a bit of left-over AF that your body is trying to get rid of? Have you been ill or had any abdominal trauma? If it were me, I would make an emergency appointment and get seen tomorrow - to put your mind at ease more than anything. Big hugs xxx:grouphug:

I had (have) ovarian cancer. The cancerous bit is just horrifically bad luck but it was just a cyst on my ovary that I ignored all the symptoms of (irregular bleeding, abdominal pain and bloating etc etc) until it was as big as a watermelon and my belly measured 26 weeks pregnant- considering that I was only 9 stone at that point its an awful lot of ignoring. I just passed it off as side effects of coming off the pill and weight gain.
I was really unlucky that it was cancerous as 99.9% of cysts in a lady my age are totally fine but because I left it for so long they couldn't save my ovary or tube on one side and they were worried they'd have to take both.
Its a scary story but I'm doing fine - I had really good care from the NHS and even though my gynae wasn't sure how sucessful we'd be I've had two miscarriages since so proved at least that I can get pregnant with half an ovary.
I would just encourage anyone with unusual bleeding or pain to get checked because at worst you take two minutes of someone's time and you could save your fertility or at least feel a lot less worried.
I didn't mean to scare anyone - I was just really unlucky. you can pm me if you have any questions about it but I didn't want to keep quiet - too many people don't talk about scary things and it only makes them more scary.0 -
Wow. Scary indeed. I don't think it's that, but how would I know, since everytime I tell a doctor about my issues it's brushed aside and has been at every single GP practice I've been registered with and there have been a few - I used to move around a lot?
I think I'll take a wait and see approach for now. Obviously, I'll go straight to the hospital if it gets heavy, or more painful. If it's bad overnight I'll try to see a doctor tomorrow. Could just be my body being weird. I've not had a normal cycle this year.
Thank you for sharing your story lemonmelon. It's kind of inspiring.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Thanks codemonkey - No I don't think its that either but if its worrying you don't ignore it because you don't want to bother your GP, better to know.
Hopefully its just your body having a proper clear out of everything so it can grow a baby this month :-)0
