    Morning Ladies.

OH has just gone to a job interview. I have everything crossed for him - it would be so good for us if he got it. I have also FINALLY convinced him to go to A&E about his hand - he was involved in a football accident ( he's a goalkeeper) about 5 weeks ago and basically, his ring and baby finger are a mangled mess. He watched his mum, dad and sister all die in various departments of hospitals so, understandably, doesn't like going.

QQ - I promise I won't test until 19th (or maybe the day before :D). I have done a complete u-turn since last week and now don't think I am pg which, obviously, is quite upsetting :(

That said, I am just about to get stuck into a tub of Seriously Strong spreadable and nice crusty bread. YUM!

I hope a good nights sleep has helped everyone to calm down a little bit. Perhaps we should just knock the issue on the head? Hope everyone has a nice day :)

Thank you QQ, in that case would anybody like my VIP FF? It has 9 or so months on it I think.

Nicky, I can see your points with regards to how those of us who have fallen pg can forget how it felt to have friends etc go on about their pregnancies. I still remember how much it hurt to see friends post every detail of their pregnancy on Facebook. I've posted a few comments and had my scan pic as my profile pic but seeing a friend mention shed had a miscarriage brought it all back to me and so I changed my profile pic so as to spare her feelings, she knows I'm pg she doesn't need it rubbing in her face constantly.

If you put 20 women in a house and kept them their you would be bound to experience pmt, arguments, misunderstandings, and so on. Such is life.

This place is a massive support to everyone and whilst it can be hard to have graduates here it can also be very helpful and insightful if they have gone through similar things to posters. So if a poster asks about using donated eggs fluffnutter can explain her experiences. If anyone wants advice about trying whilst in a same sex couple there is someone on here who can give their experiences and so on. I don't think anybody should be penalised or kicked off a thread just because of a certain factor.

Can't this please just be a nice supportive place.

Apologies if this goes on but I'm on my phone lol xxx
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Good luck with your eggie QQ! It sounds very promising :) When do they put it back in? Do you have to wait until next month for that?

Is A & E the right department though? Since it was 5 weeks ago? Are there a walk-in clinic nearby he could go to?
    How bad is it?:(

    I'll second that:)

I wont be continuing this any further, but I wont be lied about either and have someone act as the injured party yet again.

I have NEVER had any interactions with Nicki other than standing up for posters who she has attacked, I wont have anyone treated by her the way she has treated myself. I have not ever made Nicki the target of anything and certainly wont be insinuated to be the bully here.

Ive been an active and lurking poster of this thread for many years, and will continue to do so whether I am pregnant or not.

You cant keep poking people with a stick and then wonder why it all blows up in your face and feel sorry for yourself.

I have to wait until I'm exactly 5DPO next cycle. But even then, my clinic has strict hormone and lining criteria, and if any of those is not to their liking, it'll be postponed to the following cycle zzzzzzzzzzzz.

As soon as AF arrives, I'm back to the clinic at CD3:cool: (I'm 10DPO now, and my LP is about 14 days).

Fingers crossed you meet the criteria next cycle. I guess it's good that they are strict so to give your beanie the best chance possible :)

I really am keeping everything crossed for you. There's going to be one heck of an MSE party when you get your BFP :D

I have followed this thread for a few years now and been part of it during my own ttc experiences/mc etc.

About once every 6 months, a row will blow up..without fail.

I think it is just a combination of hormones, heightened emotions and desperate want for a baby that sets the spark off. Whether anyone cares to admit it or not, reading that someone else has had a BFP when you so desperately want one is hard to swallow, and feelings of envy mixed in with being happy for the person, is 100% to be expected.

I don't think you could ever expect a subject so emotive not to cause upset and conflict from time to time amongst the great support it also offers.

I am looking forward to being part of it all again in the next few months :)

    :T
definitely this. it's an unusual situation, we all want the same thing so we we're supportive but we're still human so we don't want anyone else to get it before we do :o

i remember when i was upset about my sister getting pg, and my auntie in law who had all the troubles said she understood and that i would always feel cheated- and i think that's a good word for it.
i must admit i check the front page for how long someone has been trying and get a bit upset if it's not long but that's my issue and i know it comes from my fears of inadequacy, it's not nice to think you're being left behind in anything :o but above all i know in my heart that what i wish for everyone is that they'll get pg the first cycle with a sticky bean. Please give me a nudge when i forget this x x

QQ my fingers are crossed so hard for you! in a way your clinic gives you an advantage over the rest of us, we're all going into it 'blind' so to speak, no idea of how thick lining is etc. it must be fustrating though x x
MV, one of the great things about this thread is the amount of times people try to persuade you to have sex, we're like drug pushers for your partner's good times :rotfl:x x
