 ladies. I'm back from my holiday, had an amazing time in this hot sunny weather! It was great having a holiday in the 2ww as well, as I wasn't wishing time to fly by as I usually do.

Hope you are all ok - have just read back, big ((hugs)) to those with BFN or AF and sorry not to see any BFPs this week.

Bigzippy - you will be missed a lot on this thread!

Vesper - good luck with the adoption application. DH and I have agreed we will definitely consider adoption in the future if we don't get pregnant.

QQ - glad to hear IVF is a go this month and keeping everything crossed for you. Hope MIL is recovering well after the op.

Sorry not to write individual replies to all the posts... have post holiday brain (such a nice feeling, a week away from mobile phone reception, internet etc...!)

I'm 12dpo, have been pretty good and not SSing (no symptoms to spot!) which is much easier on holiday than when I am at home. I did keep temping in the end as I wanted to see the pattern whatever happens. Slight dip yesterday to 97.73 and the same reading again today so I'm not feeling hopeful. Boobs slightly swollen today but they always are before AF. Glad I didn't take any tests away with me, not often I get to 12dpo without testing! I might test on Sunday if my temp doesn't dip any further.

Happy Friday everybody - enjoy the weekend!

Also, I don't buy clothes really because the hope is that I won't fit into them for too long.

I'm guilty of this too :o When I do buy clothes I tend to buy them with a bit of stretch in just in case... I should be enjoying buying and wearing fitted stuff whilst I still can! :p

Glad you had a good holiday MrsJ :) I'm on countdown to my little holiday, only 42 days! :T

I'm tempted to say 'Screw it' to TTC and just *try* to BD every 2/3 days and see what happens. I've got a bit of a mental deadline of August as I really wanted to be PG by my friend's wedding (and have bought a dress with extra belly room just in case :o), if I'm not PG by then we may have to regroup and start taking things a little more seriously. :o

same here, I've put my life on hold since last july knowing and waiting for my LLETZ. I wanted to get a new job but I might as well wait till after having a baby, there's no way I'm going back to my current job after having a baby, hate the job with a passion!

    I know how you feel.

I spent 6 miserable months with my LLETZ saga and continuous heavy bleeding after. I'm just waiting for the results of my 6 month check up and hoping that I wont encounter a repeat of that experience. Kinda messes with the TTC game plan doesn't it lol.

As for the job, I'm like you. Starting to hate my job and hoping to get pregnant so that I can go on maternity leave.

Edited to say that I'm not trying for a baby just to get out of work for a year :-)

So sorry girls you are all feeling down today. It will happen for all of you, I am sure it will. Just try to relax, I know it is not easy....

I am 6 days late and starting to think I am pregnant tho my tests keep saying negative. I am never late. I feel funny, I have this sicky feeling most of the time,my boobs hurt and there is no signs of AF yet... I will test Sunday again, still early days I guess... xx take care everyone.

    Hugs for feeling down tinks.

But you are only 12dpo, and the stats say that even if you are pregnant you have a 20% chance of getting a BFN on a pregnancy test, at this point, and a 20% chance of only getting a very faint positive.

So, whilst the superdrug one was depressing, the ttttttlp is a sign that there may still be hope this month. Fxd the witch stays away on Sunday.
    Thanks Honey xxx:A

    Hello ,

Today I walked like a cowboy and it wasn't because I started riding :D. I think that was my last BD session ever as I'm all sore and so my OH... We've started BD a little bit too early this cycle and now we are too tired and soreeeee :o .

OPK negative today but the line was stronger than yesterday. One step tests are a little bit different than the ones I used last month but I'm sure it was a negative test:

QQ: I had THE mother of all EWCM today. It was clear, slipery and shiny. No white bits in it or other stuff. Beautiful and fertile EWCM.

Hope I'll get a positive OPK tomorrow and BD for the last time this cycle :D.

:T Yay! A 12dpo buddy!! Sorry about your BFN today, but fingers crossed that tttlp will turn into a BFP... when are you next testing? I'm not very hopeful this month but I still know I'll be really disappointed with a bfn. I'm going to try and wait until Sunday to test.

Haven't been SSing as I have no symptoms. But that doesn't stop me poking my boobs every five minutes to check if they've got any bigger or if they hurt. :rotfl:

I've also ventured into checking my cervix this month (love this thread, I could NOT share that information with anybody in person!) and am basically very confused. I hope that next cycle I'll have a clearer idea of what is high/low, firm/soft, open/closed!
