emsbet - good to hear from you I have been stalking you!!! xxxIf you can think it........it will happen0

I'm doing my own head in with this stressing about AF / BFN etc, so am just putting down some thoughts that I will try to refer back to when I am struggling.
* I have done everything I can this month to get my BFP
* Nothing I do at this stage will alter the result
* Stressing will not change a thing. What will be will be.
* Testing early will not effect the result of the test. I am either pregnant or I am not. Testing early would only mean that I knew about a +ve test slightly earlier and will only make me miserable if it says a -ve test
* There are worse things in the world than having to wait for a baby (even if it doesn't feel like that at times)
* If I am not pregnant, there is always next month.
* If I am not pregnant there is a couple of pear ciders with my name on them. Possibly more than a couple
* Being tearful or grumpy will not make me get a BFP, if anything it might put DH off BD'ing :rotfl:
* Stop SS'ing. I have 'felt' pregnant 3 cycles in a row now. Clearly it is wishful thinking and it does not effect the outcome.
* SS'ing is like when my DD comes home with nits. I start scratching my head. Its only because I am super sensitive and aware of everything.
* I am not in control of TTC. I do everything I can to help, but ultimately, its down to luck as well as well timed BD'ing etc.
Right, think thats all for now. I might print it out for everytime I want to take a test, or get grumpy or sad.Married my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait
 2013 is going to be our lucky year :dance:0 -
Abis that is a great post.
I might print it out too and look at it!!!
Another cowbag friend on Facebook announcing 4 months today will be baby day. Bleurgh. Actually, she's not a friend, she's a show off acquaintance I might disfriend! There. Better already.0 -
Sa-ra-ra-ra, exciting! Stay here as long as you like!:j
The temp drop could've been an implantation dip:cool:
When are you doing a digi?
Tea Lover, huge (((hugs))) for UTI:(
Nicki, thanks for the CBFM tip. I think I usually pee for 4 seconds:D I always get Peak though, but not necessarily High...
TTC40, glad your DH's SA was fine:)
April is just around the corner, but hope you'll get your BFP before then:cool:
abis, try to hold off testing until 14DPO:o Great list by the way:D
emsbet, hi there:wave:0 -
Thank you everyone, you're right, I do need to breathe and calm down a bit! What will be will be, and I know from experience that nothing I do will change any of it. I've been trying to organise an appointment with my dr and my consultant today as I have been told that it's VERY IMPORTANT that I see them as soon as I get my BFP. Typically my consultant's secretary is out of the office today and the first appointment I can get with the GP is on Monday.
So I'll just make a nest over here in the corner and be very quiet and noone will know that I'm still here...
Nikki and Emsbet, I think you're right about the pregnancy post miscarriage thread, I would definitely post on it. You don't want to bring down the <12wks thread, but there's some very specific mentalling which goes on when you've had losses before and you don't want to scare the newbies.Sa-ra-ra-ra, exciting! Well, I thought that it might be an implantation dip on Monday (ever the optimist!) but then it kept going down. Maybe it was? A two day implantation?! I don't know.
I was planning on doing a digi on Friday morning...0 -

Eta: oh, and 2b, I hope the referral is helpful, but just a heads up - if it's an nhs appointment, you're unlikely to see the consultant named on the letter straight out the box - they usually have an underling see you on their behalf for your first appointment(s). I remember reading that you were excited by who it was, and I didn't want you to be surprised and upset on the day if it didn't work out like that, iyswim?
Oh bumsThank you for the heads up though, I appreciate it.
Do you (or anybody else who has been through the process know), are they likely to prescribe Clomid on the first appointment? Or will I have to wait another 18 weeks or so, to get seen again?
What about this trigger shot, do they do this on the NHS? Will they follow my cycle and scan me?
I really have no idesa what to expect, so any advice welcomed.
AND FINALLY!
Big congrats to our BFPS... its been so quiet on here for bfps, we were definitely due some.
xxBaby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j0 -
Hi everyone
Hugs to all those that need them and congratulations to all the BFP's.
I'm on my 1st month of testing ovalation and today my test showed test line slightly darker then control line (using cheap dip stick ones) so am I right in thinking ovalation will occur in next couple of days? If so that's right in middle of cycle, so bang on timing wise.
Think I'm getting addicted to testing my wee - its quite worrying!0
