Glad you're feeling more positive Gorky and good luck to tea lover at the doctors
Mogwai, sorry to hear your worried about PCOS. It is hard not to look online and see people who have had a horrible time of it. But 1 in 10 women have it so I'm guessing it's like other conditions- soon as you say 'i might have x' people will be falling over themselves to tell you about their fifteen friends with it
I know it runs in my family and all of them with it have had 2 healthy pregnancies conceived naturally.
My gynae said that as I didn't actually have any cysts when I had an ultrasound that if I lost weight (my bmi was 41 and I had no cycle to speak of) he saw no reason why I would have any trouble with conceiving
AFM, I had a dream last night about a 20 week scan, although it was like watching a baby swim in a pool and oh gosh was she ever cute! Dark curly hair and a cheeky grin like her daddy but not his nose lol
Funnily enough, the dream didn't upset me, more reassured me that my baby girl will come to me one day (DH's Auntie's theory is that a child you miscarry will go back to heaven try to be born again) x xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

I read this on another board recently, which was immensely comforting

hi everyone loads happening on here today been catching up on your posts.
hugs for all af's
aida- logged on to see your positive test yeh! hopefully everything will be ok and scan will be normal for your weeks and you will get good results from the next couple of blood tests. naughty bfp hiding from you though.
lemonmelon- am so sorry to hear of your loss, i too had a mc, take time to make sure you look after yourself and your oh sending you hugs.
nikki- you are the god of all that is TTC and i bow at your feet. :T
Do you have any medical training as i think you should go into that field, you always give good answers with sound backing and research. Im going to look into that book later especially with me as i get PMS quite strong sometimes and im probably not getting the best diet at the moment, i have to do my online shopping later so im going to be good and meal plan before i order the shopping!
Please let us know about your plan of action as well.
sa-ra-ra- glad to hear about your positive opks, i think they can be little !!!!!!s to work out until you are used to using them, i think it is only this month i have managed to get on with them. fingers crossed the john wayne walk has done it for you!:rotfl:
mogwai-sorry to hear about the doctor and the pcos, if i were you i def ask for some more info especially as you have been ntnp for over a year now, it does seem a bit of a fob off to be told keep trying for 6 months and then come back. i dont think the doctors realise how long 6 months is to contemplate when you have already been waiting what feels like forever.
teamlowe- your dream sounds lovely and isnt it good when its not upsetting and more reassuring when you dream of babies? if only i could have that reassured feeling in real life! really like your dh aunties theory as well, would be great to think that happened.
afm ive changed some of the settings on ff to take acount of my opk results to work out when ovulation occurred rather than temps (as i havent been using that) and i have a dotted line for ov but as im only 4/5 dpo nothing really to speak of here.
I did actual smile at a woman that was carrying a baby and had a toddler with her that had to pass me today, but i think its only because we bd like a beast this month (well for us anyway) and im hopefully, not too sure i would feel the same if it was af day though.:)0 -
Hi girls, hope no one minds me joining in?
I've been ttc for nearly a year (tho had 4 months off when wedding got near!)
I'm 32 and this would be our 1st baby. I also have pcos - feel like that combined with my age isn't the best of starts! Hmmm.
My last AF was on the 8/3 (two days lated then expected) but was very odd (sorry if tmi...) it was quite watery and only lasted day and half - 2 days max. I did a test this morning just 'incase' and it was neg, but have never had such a short period before - any one have any ideas?
Good luck and baby dust to everyone else trying at moment...0 -

Now... how do I seduce my DH after we agreed we would BD every two days, and had a great BD last night.......?0 -
Welcome lou lou  can't help other than to say my af seems to just change randomly for no real known reason too. I have pcos too.
Lol mrsj, good luck"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0
