Aida - huge hugs, wishing time goes quickly until Wednesday evening when you get your results. You are in my thoughts.

I don't know if I'm reading things that aren't there/reaching... and therefore just making things more painful for you :o, but I'm wondering whether it's possible you ov'd late (CD 24), and had an impantation dip at CD34, with breakthrough bleeding, and would therefore not be 5w+...? When did you first test positive/tlp on an hpt?

Either way, I'm sorry you're in such limbo, I hope the docs can get to the bottom of things with your various tests etc :o

That interpretation looks possible BZ. How confident are you about your CM notations Aida. Did you keep checking up to CD24 as your chart suggests or just assume it would be the same as the day before? If this is a possibility, then I would not take any decisions about this situation for at least another 10 days, when if there is a viable pregnancy, conceived on CD24, something should be visible on an early scan.

Phase 2 of my plan, as promised earlier. This will take me from CD5 up to first positive OPK or first peak on CBFM.

    Do's
    Keep calm
Positive affirmations and visualise what needs to be happening
Try not to obsess, and be productive and creative this week
Up my exercise, and try to do Pilates class or practise daily
Drink nettle tea or raspberry leaf tea
Use rose, geranium, lavender, grapefruit and bergamot essential oils
Lots of sex and massage for OH
Lots of rest and early nights

    Don'ts
Alcohol, caffeine, air con/overheating, too much computer time, spicy foods

    Good foods

    All of previous ones, plus:
Royal jelly, honey, aloe Vera, sesame seeds, raspberry jelly, apples, asparagus, avocado, duck, oats, pear, pomegranate, pork, sweet potato, watermelon.

Haven't done my meal plans yet, but am working on projects which will keep me productive and occupied (so not obsessing) but not over tiring. Lots of cupboards which need tidying have my name on them I think! Am also going to try to do one beauty treatment of some kind daily, and give a bit more thought to what I wear each day, to help get us both into the lots of sex frame of mind :D

Aida - big hugs sweetie, it's horrible not knowing what's going on. I hope it's good news, or that things are sorted quickly if not. Take care of yourself.

2ba3c - hugs for you and DW too. Hope you're both ok.

and of course hugs for everyone else that would like one.

GP went ok yesterday (I think). I thought he'd tell me to keep trying for a few months then come back later, but as soon as I got in there he referred me. He said taking into account the previous PCOS diagnosis, and the amount of treatment I've had for endo, that we could well need some help.

I have the choose and book password thing now, so have to call the reproductive medicine centre at Coventry (anyone been there?) to make the appt.

Thought OH would be a bit funny about it as it's a joint appt and he'll need to do a SA but he was lovely. Just said it needs to be done and to tell him what he has to do. Not that he doesn't want this of course, just thought he might not react to well to appts and tests and stuff - but he's surprised me in a good way lol.

Feel quite sad that the GP read all my notes and thought the best thing was referral, but then I guess I should see it as a good thing that I don't have to fight and convince them to help us.

So fingers crossed that by the time we get an appt we won't need it.

2ba3c - ((hugs)), so sorry for your loss :( Hope you and DW are ok.

Aida - sending ((hugs)) to you, look after yourself. I really feel for you in the 'not knowing' stage.

Tealover - glad the GP has referred you and you haven't had to fight for a referral, and great news that DH is on board with the whole thing. Can understand you feeling a bit sad though. As you say, hopefully you won't need the appointment!

Mission BD last night accomplished :D DH was sweet this morning, he said 'I hope we made a baby last night, it seems like it's about time it happened, and if it doesn't this month, well, then that's just mean'. It's such a change from his totally terrified approach when we first started trying. Hooray!

Aida - don't apologise for posting what you are feeling here, that is what this thread is for. I can only imagine all the emotions you are going through at the moment (hugs).

2b - hugs to you and your dw

Tealover - glad your doctor took you seriously and referred you. I know what you mean about feeling bad for being referred even though that is kind of what you wanted. I have my first appointment with fs in a couple of weeks having been referred by my gp earlier this year, I am pleased to being seeing them as it feels like I am taking all the steps I can to try and get there but it is also sad to think that it is necessary. My DH doesn't do doctors and hospitals and I was really worried about getting referred and doing SA but he suprised me and he did the SA without complaint and then after the results got referred.

mogwai, I have PCOS as do a lot of the ladies posting on this thread. Mild PCOS isn't anything to worry about, it just means you produce a lot of follicles each month, more than most women, but everyone produces multiple follicles anyway. It is only really a problem where you produce multiple follicles but none grows to the correct size, so none releases an egg. If it has been confirmed that you are ovulating regularly though, there should be nothing to worry about.

Interestingly PCOS is hereditary and is passed down the maternal bloodline. So although it CAN cause fertility problems, most often it doesn't. Even if it is adversely affecting your fertility, there are quite a lot of things which can be done simply and easily to help. Women with PCOS usually respond well to Clomid for example. I didn't, but started ovulating again after having my ovaries drilled. Its also one of those conditions which tends to come and go, so you can have periods in your life when it is causing you not to ovulate, but then you will spontaneously start again. Finally, if you have any excess weight, this will make PCOS worse, and losing weight often kick starts ovulation in women with PCOS. The guideline is usually to lose 10% of your bodyweight if you have a high BMI.

Thanks ladies, I am trying not to mention this to anyone as I don't want to get into the PCOS thing at this stage, as the dr has suggested that since i am ovulating and regular that its nothing to worry about

I am thinking about a supplement though, I used to take Evening primrose oil before anyway, may be a good idea to just take it as a precaution

Aida ((hugs)) to you, just keep positive as you never know..life surprises you sometimes!
