The girl I work with is back in the office day after her scan yesterday and is telling everyone her news. I did manage to congratulate her, give her a hug, ask a few questions and look at the scan pic before I disappeared off to the toilet to have a good cry. Life just seems do unfair at times0

hello everyone
Sorry for your loss 2b.
Aida, keep positive. Even if you are only a few days out (and temping etc. is by no means an exact science) at such an early stage it can make a massive difference to what they see on a scan. Fingers crossed for you but from reading your posts you seem to have such a positive attitude towards ttc you'll be fine whatever happens xx
Sounds like you and I are following the same plan Nicki! I can thoroughly recommend a candlelit bath with lavender and bergamot oils. Also Waitrose do a nice raspberry jelly if you can't be faffed making your own.
As for me I'm waiting to ov, second cycle after mc. Hoping that egg will pop out on the weekend as it's easier to get the required amount of bding in then without work getting in the way. I do wonder though if I could get away with "sorry I'm late, I'm about to ovulate and had to have s e x this morning":D. Also going to book a massage on Saturday so I'm nice and chilled over the weekend.
Good luck with the bding everyone!0 -

yep, it is really unfair. Good on you for being able to put on a brave face in front of her, I'm not sure I could0 -
Morning ladies!
Hugs to all those in need, a lot going on at the mo!:o
So i feel like a bit of a muppet, mis-calculated my cycle and AF is due on thursday and not today so have to wait until then to find out if operation BD was successful or not. Still going to wait until Sat for testing though as have to work thurs and Fri. Here's hoping we get a BFP this month!
On the other side, if i get a BFN and AF arrives i'm going to track down some royal jelly and other weird sounding delights to help things along
Have a happy Tuesday everyoneSaving money like a trouper...0 -
CD1 for me today! Normally I'd be gutted but my 50 day cycle beats my last one of 76 days!! :j0

DundeeDiva - fingers crossed for you.
Squirrel - hugs for af but yay for shorter cycle.0 -
Aida - Huge Hugs Honey I hope that you get some answers soon. Take care of yourself.
2b - Sorry for your loss sending hugs to you and your DW
So CD10 here we bd'd cd8 and are due again tonight. I am still feeling pants and have all but lost my voice  which DD2 thinks is very strange.
I swear given all my symptons if I was in my 2ww I swear would be knockd up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:even said as much to the doc this morning
Also at the surgery some old git hit my door into me whilst I was putting dd2 in the car and has hurt my nose & shin and chipped some paint on my door & didn't even stop. Was so angry and upset but have no voice to have it out with the stupid old git driver. I swear old people need to re take their tests as they so can't drive :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Wow, loads going on here.
Hope you find out one way or another soon Aida, must be hard to now know.
Hugs to 2b for your loss. Look after yourselves x
Fingers crossed Dundee Diva
Squirrel - yay for shorter cycle but nay for AF!
Primmer - round of applause for keeping calm in front of preggo scan lady.
Whoever said Nicki should be in medicine - I agree, I'd have you as a my doctor:D
Bad day for me today cos
1) I c***cked up at work big stylee and my boss (aka my dad) won't let me forget.
2) I'm having my wisdom teeth out this afternoon
3) Due to said wisdom teeth removal I shall probably not want to BD this week and will therefore miss OV:mad:
4) I realised how much I spent on holiday.
Pooooeeey day all round really.0 -
hi everyone,
its all foggy and gloomy here. Had a good night sleep for a change last night but have woken up with a sore throat today so hope im not coming down with something. Have loads to do today, had lots planned and dont feel like doing any of it grr.
mrsj28- i like your smiley as well, a very excited smiley over ewcm i like it! :j plus you dh's comment was so sweet.
2ba3c- so sorry to hear about dw grandmother sending you hugs
aida- please dont think you didnt deserve to be at that scan. You have a positive test and you have every right to find out if your body and everything is ok. Like the others have said if you are unsure of when you ov and the dates i wouldnt make any decisions based on the scan at the moment, just see what the bloods come back with.
I know its the hardest thing in the world waiting and i wish no one had to wait for anything. Hoping the wait goes quick for you and sending you hugs.
nicki- really like the look of your plan for your next stage as well, ive got my meal plans so im going to try and start some exercise as well this week (when i can fit it in) i used to do the positive affirmations and it is suprising how it does work, you feel a bit silly at the beginning, but i know for myself i beat myself up over lots of things and sometimes its good to just say something positive and try to change your mind set as well.
Plus the beauty treatment a day sounds a good plan as well.
tealover- glad to hear your gp appt went well. really glad to hear your dh is happy with the tests as well, its always good to be a united front. Hoping you find some answers out and get the ball rolling. If you dont get a BFp before (fingers crossed!)
primmer- sending you big hugs, its hard to keep the smile plastered on the face sometimes and i know what you mean about crying in the toilet. It will be you soon.
zcrat41- sending hugs to you for today, ive chickened out on having my wisdom teeth a couple of times now, i had really bad infections and had to have antibitotics but last time they booked an apt i was preg so they wouldnt do anything, they told me to come back after the preg but i had a mc anyway and i still havent been back. whoops! Really hope it goes well for you and its not too painful. Are you just having the one out?
have a good day everyone off to 'force' myself to do the chores0 -
I should really give credit to bigzippy for the over excited smiley I used earlier - I saw it in one of her earlier posts (I think it was when Mr bigzippy got his SA results, which is much more worthy of the over excited smileys than my EWCM!!!)0
