Pleased to hear it went well at the GP Aida. What time is your scan? Just to prepare you though, if you are less than 6 weeks, they may not be able to detect a heartbeat yet, as the heartbeat isn't normally visible until 6 wks.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Aida glad your GP was reassuring, let us know how the scan and blood tests go... thinking of you.0

Just a quick update. I went to see to my GP in the morning and he sent me to a scan + blood test. He was so reassuring. Not sure if I get to see something today but even a heart bit will be fine. Thank you for thinking of me. I'm still in shock as I was 100% that I wasn't preggo...
Aw what a lovely surprise Aida! :j Look after yourself and get plenty of rest for the next few weeks :TWe got rid of the kids. The cat was allergic.

Wow, loads going on on here.
Hugs to those back, especially lemonmelon.
Congrats to the BFP's too! Good start to March.
Yet again Nicki's advice proves really interesting! I think I'll order that book.
My hangover caused by 5 nights of making the most of free wine is still here. It hurts. Problem is, it'll just be replaced tomorrow by lack of wisdom teeth pain! OV due Thurs/Fr, I'm hoping I won't be too rough to miss it!

Yay Aida, that's really good - I hope that it all goes well for you. Just FYI (and so you don't get stressed out about it), you tend to be able to see a heartbeat from about 6+3, so you may not be able to see one yet. They will be able to tell you if the egg sac and foetal pole are there though. The blood test will tell you if you are pregnant, and if they do another one a day or so later, it'll be able to tell you if your hormones are doing the right thing. Good luck and fingers crossed for you
Lemonmelon, I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you're looking after yourself, and don't underestimate how much impact it will have on you and your OH - take some time to grieve; the emotional side of it lasts much longer than the physical.
So, in my news... I'm currently walking like John Wayne, as we really got on it this weekendAnd I take back everything bad I've ever said about OPKs, apparently they do work, you just have to read the instructions and use them when you're actually about to ovulate (who knew?!). We've done everything we can, so now we're into a waiting game.
My FF chart looks a lot better (and you can actually see the temp rise) now that I've disregarded the hungover temperatures. I like it better like this! (I know you're not supposed to mess with the temps. I don't care, I'm feeling rebellious).
Also, I'm having sushi for lunch, and I've got my first appointment with the recurrent miscarriage clinic this afternoon, which is exciting. AND it's sunny. AND I don't have diabetes or a thyroid disorder (got my bloods back today), so I'm generally feeling quite positive!
Hope everyone's well.
ETA: Ooh, blimey, completely forgot about the BFPs! Yay! Congratulations, happy and healthy (and not too sick) vibes to all of you0 -

So sorry Lemonmelon, hugs!
I'm still full of cold but I found a decongestant spray (Vicks) which works like a treat, I'm not blocked anymore!!! Though now I have a very runny nose.
OH is still not well, we got 3 hours sleep last night:(. Getting so fed up:(. On the other hand the weather is lovely but shame I'm inside.0 -

PMT suggests hormone are out of balance, either way.

Really? That's really interesting. I hadn't realised. I shall have a look for that book, I think, as the PMT makes me feel awful! And mixed with walking through London during rush-hour last week......BAD mix!
(HUGS) to all those who need them, and I'm sorry to see losses
Congrats to those who their BFP's!
