I was briefly on the under 12 weeks thread after a BFP on 3-2, sadly it was not meant to be and miscarried last week.
Hope you'll get your forever baby very soon:oI read that in something like 98% of cases - where weight is an issue - fertility treatment is no more effective than losing weight is...0 -
For you ladies with PCOS, who are struggling with weight issues, have you looked into the GL eating plan to control your glucose intolerance? I only asked cause the doctor mentioned it to me as a treatment option when they were testing me for it. I actually bought a book on managing pcos through GL. Its not something i plan to do and the book is getting in my way, so if any of you guys want it, pm me and i'll send it.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

And in case anyone is wondering why I'm awake its because DH keeps poking me in the shoulder because apparently I'm snoring. Its not like this is the first night this week that I've managed to get some sleep or anything. Or that lying awake too afraid to go back to sleep in case I disturb him is aggravating the blinding headache I've had all week. But no, as long as he gets some sleep....

Sorry for OH being a plank codemonkey. Hope you did manage to get some sleep.
Massive temp dip for me this morning, so I think AF will be along shortly. 8th attempt post loss coming up.

Sorry to hear that Nicki, i had my fingers crossed for you.
Codemonkey, i'm on the GI rather than the GL diet as it'd be too tempting for me to cheat on GL. i've got a little collins gem dictionary of GI levels that's like, traffic lighted. so any stuff that's marked green i eat a lot of, orange i try to limit to once a week and red to once a month. that's the theory anyway
I'm also weightlifting whilst at the gym, as muscle helps to control insulin levels so the more you put on the better controlled it is
Secretdebts, is it wrong that any illness i have i always think 'ooh, maybe this will make me lose weight' lol
Welshgirl, sorry to see you back, hope your stay is short and sweetx x

Thanks for the GL tip codemonkey, will look into that. My weight is ok, but am thinking it can't hurt to check out the diet right? Maybe it will have other PCOS benefits.0

Primmer, you basically said everything I had planned to say.
Sorry for everyone who isn't having a great time of it - this TTC lark is a rollercoaster, and unfortunately we all end up suffering a lot of disappointments before that excitement. It sucks, but at least we have people to talk to about it.
I have a question for people who might know better than me about FF - I've noticed that I get a massive peak in temperature the morning after I've had a [STRIKE]few more than one[/STRIKE] drink. When I'm recording it on FF, should I say that I was drinking the day before, or should I say that I was drinking on the day that I get the high temp? Logic says that I should do it on the day I'm actually drinking, but I don't know if it will recognise that that's why my temperature spikes.
Also, OPKs are a crock of testes. I've been wee-ing on them for WEEKS and still not even a sniff of a line. Boo.0
