oops 2ba. I imagine you were hacked off to say the least. If it makes you feel any better, when we did our IVF cycle, DH offered to inject me with the drugs to be part of the process, and injected the whole of the first (very expensive) dose into his own thumb :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: I have no idea what effect those hormones had on the sperm sample he had to produce 2 weeks later0

It may be time for me to join this thread, as I had my mirena taken out today (although not sure how long it will take me to return to fertility, the doctor said a week but I've heard tales of much longer). Had an interesting conversation at the clinic
(I'd already explained by this point that I was having it out as I wanted to get pregnant)
Nice but dim nurse: Have you had sex in the last seven days? There is a slight risk you could get pregnant.
Me: That's fine with me
Nice but dim nurse: Do you want some free condoms?
??????????????????????????????
Anyway I guess we are TTC now, although I won't be seriously TTC until my period comes back, until then I guess its NTNP. At least the damn thing is out now.0 -
:rotfl: Nicki, how the hell did he manage that?! :rotfl:

Welcome to the thread "I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
The worst thing was that he was then going to draw up another dose of the stuff and reinject it into me this time with the same needle . Suffice it to say, I took over all injecting duties from that moment onwards
. To be fair, he's never got his sperm on the ceiling though. :rotfl::rotfl:

Hello butterfly72 and an9i77
Congarats to Carolan :jMorning all,:j
CD54!! This is getting silly now, last month's cycle was 49 days so at this rate I'll ovulate twice a year if I'm lucky.
Was a complete cow to OH last night - had a right go at him for daring to tell me where to plug the vacuum in lol. Screamed at him that he was lazy and selfish and told him to f off, haven't spoken to him since
I'd like to think it's hormonal and AF must be on the way but tbh I think I'm just a bit of a b1tch
Tealover – hang in there. I know the feeling I was watching the days rattle past (i know I only got to CD45) but it is sooooo frustrating and I know I took it out on OH too. Its his “it will happen one day” relaxed attitude that is driving me mad0 -
Sorry I managed to post before I had finished...............
Hugs to those on CD1/2
Fingers crossed LittleMoog and Flee
Fannyanna – great news about your husband
Bigzippy – I so love your conversation with you DH, made me laugh out loud
((Hugs)) to all that need / want them0 -
