not that i'm saying you need to lose weight or to blame yourself for no baby. just that it's a good way to do something that might help

That's really informative TeamLowe, hope you manage to get super fit and healthy for summer! :) Good idea to join th gym Vesper, I should go back to my old one but I got so fed up of machines being out of order and whenever I went there were loads of guys stutting around lifting weights and I always felt really self-conscious plodding along slowly on the treadmill and lifting the lightest weights on the machines so I'd usually cut my visits short at any opportunity. :o

That really is good news Fannyanna :D

Nicki, I love the super PMA of PUPO! :D

Birdie85, i know exactly what you mean, that's why i chose a gym with a ladies only part. it's only a small bit of the gym too so is usually quite quiet, only ever 1 or 2 others and most of the time they're putting in a lot less effort than me and it makes me feel more confident lol x x

no I know. I don't blaim my weight for the lackof baby, in the end I know people that are much much bigger than me and have got pregnant with no problems. But in the end I want to lose weight for me.
We did a lot of walking at the weekend especially up hills and I can't blaim my lack of fitness walking up sleep hills entirely on the fact that I am used to entirely used to only flat land. My friends were off steaming up this hill and I just couldn't keep up.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

My weight and lack of exercise are a problem. I have gained 1.5 stones since 2009 and weigh more now then when I was almost full term with my son in 2001.

Our conversation when dh got home:

Me: are we gonna bd tonight then?
Dh: yeah, sure -after my shower
    Me: but before tea?
Dh: oh. Um. Ok, I'll have my shower after then. Finish what you're doing, and come up and we'll bd
    Me: ok.

me: ....whoever said romance was dead, eh?
Dh: anyone trying to conceive, I'd say.

  • Gave in this morning and did a test a day earlier than I said I would - but im allegedly 14dpo so reckon I can get away with it!

Still a BFN and no sign of AF although I have had a few cramps today and feel like an emotional wreck so can only assume its coming at some point in the next couple of days. :(

I have a follow up appointment at the docs next week to discuss my weight issues and the possibilities of pcos....just hope I can get something sorted.
