    Hi all

    Hope you don't mind me asking a little advice. We have been trying for baby this month, but pregnancy is unlikely due to having to use contraception at fertile time due to waiting for smear results, anyway I am 2- 4 days late for my period have no real pregnancy or period symptoms, only feeling sick but I have ibs, so I feel sick for no reason quite often anyway. I did pregnancy test on Sunday and that was negative. I normally have between a 25 and 28 day cycle and I am now on day 30. I don't really know what to do now. Shall I wait till weekend if no period test again? Any advice is very welcome.

    P.s. the only strange thing I have had is the weird stretching feeling in your cervix, but that stopped about 3 days ago now.

    I would test get a superdrug one they are normally good. Good Luck :A

    Our conversation when dh got home:

    Me: are we gonna bd tonight then?
    Dh: yeah, sure -after my shower
    Me: but before tea?
    Dh: oh. Um. Ok, I'll have my shower after then. Finish what you're doing, and come up and we'll bd
    Me: ok.

    me: ....whoever said romance was dead, eh?
    Dh: anyone trying to conceive, I'd say.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    I read this out to DW and she said "I guess we're quite lucky then, because we dont have the bd demands to get the sperm where it needs to go.

    Umm, I had to remind her that inserting a syringe into my hoo-ha, is hardly romantic!

    In fact, I had notions that we could try to make it romantic and be all 'we're making a baby, isn't it amazing *kissy kissy etc etc*' - but no, the reality is:

    Me screaming: keep that syringe warm and don't shoot the sperm onto the ceiling this time
    Me again: I can't get my damn knickers off. Help. HELP MEEEE
    Me again: RIGHT QUICK. Get it in.
    Me again: Right now I need to come. Help me. No don't help me. Quicker. No, not like that, up a bit. Dammit!!! *getting increasingly frustrated*

    Yeah, super romantic. :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hello,

    DPO 11 and I started having cramps so I might see AF this cycle but not sad as my plan is to get pregnant by the end of this year.

    QQ could you please move my testing day for Friday 2nd please? I might have low temps by then and I will not need to test (good way to avoid testing...:D)

    LittleMoog Finger crossed.

    Flee Any sign of AF? Hope not!!!!

    Sa-ra-ra-ra I love your attitudine! You are a true fighter and I hope all your dreams to come true.

    zcrat41 Ouch!!! I hope it won't hurt!

    Hugs for CD1.

    AllyS If you period is 4 days late, then any pregnancy test should work. Right ladies?

    How do you know it was your fertile time? Have you been using opks or a BBT or anything? I would assume for the moment that you could've ovulated late, perhaps as late as 3 days ago...? Perhaps just test every week until you get a BFP or AF?

    Not at all, don't be sorry to ask!

    (my wife honestly did squirt a all of the sperm onto a ceiling once, I was devastated!!)

    It actually wasn't all that hard to find a donor, surprisingly.

    To find a normal, good looking, NO WEIRD one though, was SUPER HARD!!!
