Congrats lemonmelon - wishing you a happy and healthy pregnancy :j:j

Zcrat - if you had second peak yesterday it is not too late and a bd tonight could be well-timed.

BZ - sending hugs, you have enough going on in rl without worrying about the baby shower and soni would just decline the invite.

Cd7 for me and high in cbfm, hoping don't get my peak until at least Sunday as my parents are coming up for a visit tonight and staying over tonight and tomorrow and go home on Sunday.

QQ, can you put me down as 1DPO please?
just felt my cervix and it's a lot firmer than yesterday, so i'm guessing my sharp pain was Ov. if i'm lucky.
this would also put me on track for a 35 day cycle as the two months i was allowed to temp (DH felt it put pressure on him so i stopped. yes, he is very odd) i only had a 10 luteal phase. think that's just inside the normal range so doesn't worry me too much, i'm just excited for the potention of a normal cycle again :):) x x

Congratulations lemon melon. Let us know what OH's reaction was.

A new SS for me, slight nose bleeds. I wish it was SS but I know it is just my hormones playing games and saying "Hey guess what, let me add another hormonal symptom to Flee's long list. Let's keep her guessing at whether she is pregnant or not" grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Every month since August I have had different symptoms, and every month has been different. My hormones are everywhere.

Only good thing this month ****TMI***** is that I am not constipated after Ov, which I have had every single month since August. But that will be down to hormones.

This TTCing is hard work with hormones that think they are a comedian.

Big hugs to you all and hope you have a decent Friday.

EWCM, do you have to have it all day? i keep getting a good bit and then when i feel again it's lotiony x x

:o I'm going to get myself a reputation for being a CM nerd I think! Your CM can change throughout the day, but for purposes of judging fertile status you take the most fertile stuff you have noticed over the course of the day. Your fertile period is usually over when there is no EWCM at all in a 24 hour period.

    Congratulations lemonmelon.

zcrat, you are not out yet. Every other day is supposed to produce stronger sperm, so although the ideal is to dtd on both peak days and the following high day, 2 out of 3 is still good. Which is what I am telling myself anyway as DH was away on my first peak day this month.

Temp was up today so hopefully that means that I ovulated yesterday, and that DH was back in time for us to catch the egg. He's just told me he is away from Saturday to next Thursday, and then for 2 days in the middle of the week after too, so I am feeling lucky that I did get to lay hands on him at all during the right point in the cycle. Completely randomly as well, given how out of synch everything was for me this month. If we'd tried to sit down with a calendar and plan things in advance, we'd have gone completely wrong!

Thanks Nicki. I'm glad I'm came on here today cos if I hadn't have had you ladies good advice I may have grumbeld about it being all over this month! And what do you mean "may" have a reputation for being a CM nerd - you're fully fledged already! Sounds like plans have fallen into place well for you this month, I really do hope you catch.

It's weird how you notice symptoms and your body so much more isn't it. I've had a coldsore for the third month in a row around the time of OV. Never had a coldsore before in my life, then 3 in a row!

    Yay for normal cycle TeamLowe!

Have to say, re Baby Showers, I'm not a fan. Maybe I'm just to traditional and English but to me they are too modern and American. And as for the friend who put a list of gifts she didn't need on Facebook she certainly wouldn't be getting a physical gift from me!

thanks Ikkle, i was worried when i posted that that i'd upset our wonderful graduates :) the green eyed monster comes out when people are so excited about their scans, i know i'd be filled with dread. it's not that i want them to feel the way i do, i just feel cheated that i don't have that naivety anymore :(
you'll have to let us know when you have yours!

Well you didn't upset me chick, I knew exactly what you mean, and as for dread, I'm that scared that the only people who know when my scan is are me, my partner and the hospital. Anyone else who asked I've lied and said i haven't had the appointment through yet :o
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Another non fan of baby showers here. I never take a present, my husband and I give a gift from BOTH of us after the baby is born. Most of the couples we know we're both friends with both of them and the gift is for Mummy and Daddy.

I think baby showers exclude the men at a time when men can sometimes feel left out, not that they'd want to hang around drinking tea with a bunch of women but it's their baby too and I think it's nicer to give presents when both are there.

At the last baby shower I was at there was a "game" where everyone wrote down who they thought would be pregnant next. I was the "winner", as it turns out the mummy to be at that one is expecting her second later in the year, so I wasn't even close :(
