  • With the not drinking thing, my friends are used to me not drinking during AF because it makes me a lightweight. Could you tell a little white lie maybe...?

Also, siblings with the same birthdays... My mum said she thought it was a strange coincidence that her sister's two children have birthdays in December. So I then pointed out that the sister's birthday is a little under nine months before that!

CD6 here and AF seems to be on her way out. I know technically I don't belong here, as I still have the implant in, the appointment's been made for next Friday to have it out and I'm hoping to ovulate straight away. If I do, the end of the 2WW is actually DH's 30th birthday!

Thanks all, I am consoling myself with a chocolate feast. And painkillers.

I may even go out and get myself a bottle of Prosecco for later.

I've got my Mr T Cough syrup ready to go too! I might even do the pineapple thing around ovulation too!

and so, onto next month, we'll try for a December baby :)
    Baby 2b born March 2013! :j:j:j
  • Fingers and toes crossed for a lovely christmas present for you :) great plan on the chocolate and wine, I made brownies yesterday and I'm saving a special big extra chocolatey one as my treat for when AF arrives!

    Ninth Anniversary Combo Breaker
On the Super-fertile subjuect, not sure if there is any truth in it, although me and my sis have birthdays in the same month, although somehow I think that's more to do with the fact that it's their wedding anniversary 9-ish months before.

On the non-drinking bit, I would just say that I didn't feel like drinking, you can't always be in the mood for alcohol. I was like this last week, all I wanted was a nice cold glass of coke unforutunatly it backfired as everyone was then asking if I was pregnant.
I'm off to NI in the morning as although I'm not going to drink much, I'm still going to have a few. Although seems like we are going to Bushills distillery, so may have to get out of drinking at that one, I hate whiskey. Can't wait to try out proper Guinness though. Am really not looking forward to having to be up at 4 tomorrow morning, that's usually about the time I am falling asleep! I am such a night owl.

And yes please bring back the AF room!!! Although may need attacking with a few feather dusters.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
  • massive hugs 2ba3c, def need to reopen af room....not that any of us will need it for much longer (fingers crossed!)

any news on i love cushions or have I missed it?

enjoy NI vesper, the Guiness there is really good :)

    Massive hugs 2ba :(

My brother and I were both May babies so perhaps some women do have a fertile month! :) I hope my fertile month is March so I don't have to wait any longer! ;)

according to the internet (so I wouldn't bet my house on it ;)), brazil nuts have much more selenium (which aids implantation) in than pineapple. Much less fiddly to get at and you can get them covered in chocolate too :D
