Thank you everyone for being so lovely. DW is taking me out to the theatre tonight to see a musical I have been dying to see. And since I came home from work she had made me a beautiful handmade cards, with maps of all the places that are significant to us, cut out in a heart shape, with a little story about them. <3

We're also going to eat Sushi, I know you aren't supposed to eat it when you are pregnant, but should I avoid it int eh 2ww? I'm DYING for some.. and it's all you can eat!

Nice to see you back lemon. I remember you, and am still here.

Sorry you are back in such circumstances nephthys. And that you are having such a bad day 2ba3c.

Mrs H I'm also sorry the news wasn't better for mr H. A lot to take in today I suspect, and a bad day to be hearing it, though any day would be awful.

AFM, decided to talk to gynae about TTC. I know all the known issues with me and OH so not looking for any further investigations but did agree to have my ovarian reserve tested. So bloods taken today and just waiting for the result of that and my smear. Not sure I want to know the answer but I guess I don't have to open the letter when it comes :(

Have also just bought The Baby Making Bible which has lifestyle advice for each stage of the cycle, so will try this for the next few months. And have my first reflexology appointment on Friday. Hope all is well with cycle buddy Tinks today!

In your case, you'll be pg next cycle so long as you time it right:o
Tinkwings, thanks for the magic wand:wave:
Mr & MrsHappy, (((massive hugs))). Hope they'll find some spermies in there:o
2ba3c, I think some sushi is fine, I'm sure Japanese pg people eat it all the time (not that I've asked:p).
Which musical are you seeing? Glad you have a great DW:happyhear
Nicki, is the ovarian reserve thing AMH? I've had mine done, but was told it's pointless in people with PCOS:o
  • Sounds like you have a really lovely DW there 2ba3c - glad she's looking after you :)
If it was me I'd have the sushi its so tasty and any potential baby is taking no nutrients from you at the moment anyway. It can be really hard to keep denying yourself all the foods you shouldn't eat when you're pregnant, it makes ttc so much harder.

Hi Nicki, good to see you (sorry you're still here though!) hope your results come back okay - I always feel better knowing all the information even if its not good than forever wondering. Let us know if the book is good?

Thank you LM and that's pretty much how I feel.

I thought the reason you shouldn't eat it, is actually because of food poisoning and mercury? Im still trying to clarify why though :-/

I might even have a gawddamn beer today.

  • Happy valentines day ladies, PMA feels a little low here today and I can only try and understand how you are all feeling. Big hugs to everybody who is needing them and lots of choc and sbdta. :grouphug::EasterBun

CD9 for me today, we haven't BD at all since AF disappeared on Saturday :o Will def try for tonight though as 1. It's Valentines day and 2. DH bought me a card and a chocolate rose and I didn't get him anything!! I didn't think we were doing any of it this year, I am a very, very bad wife. In the card he wrote me a beautiful message, part of it was "This is our first year as a married couple, this time next year it will be our first as parents" :lovethoug I told him off for jinxing it, but it's so lovely to know he is into TTC as much as I am, sometimes I wonder if he is but then he does little things that makes me realise we are definately on the same wavelength. So, I will be cooking dinner tonight and pandering to his every request, the things we do for our OH! He was up at 3am this morning to start work at 4. He got home at 3pm and I made him a late lunch and packed him off to bed for a couple of hours.

Big fat gypsy weddings starts again tonight ladies, :T

Huge hugs to everyone that is down or having problems.

Oh has just come in and I've given him his card. No card or anything for me, he was grumbling that he was skint and they were too expensive until I explained about Asda's cheapy cards. I've given him the same one now for 5 years, each with a new message in every year of what we have done that year. Got a bit annoyed with it this year, as it says 'to my darling boyfriend' on, so I've crossed that out and written husband in instead. Gawd I'm such a cheap skate. Hardly romantic.

Oh's SA just came back from a couple of weeks ago, some may remember me saying that he had mumps as a child and last time he went for an assessment they reconed he had a low S.C. But he couldn't remember any of the details at all. SA just came back and its completely fine, towards the lower end of average, but nothing to worry about.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.

Really sorry that the FS didn't give you good news Mrshappy :(

Your OH's message was so sweet Cherrydrop! Awww. I keep saying things like that to OH but he tells me off for jinxing it! :o

    Hugs for CD1 Skintchick :(
