Trying for a Baby Part 7

Afternoon,

I'm at work sitting with a hot water bottle and a blanket over me, the heating stopped working last night. All fixed now but spending 5 hours in the cold got me the chill so trying to warm up now. It doesn't help that I drank lots of cups of tea, now I need to go to the bathroom every half an hour and the toilet seat is sooo cold. British Gas was brilliant though, boss called at 7.30 in the morning and they came out at 10.30.

Birdie, can't you just go for the wedding but book a babysitter in the hotel where you stay? So it would be only a couple of hours without baby and you still have the option to go and see it if you feel like/needs feeding/ etc. I know it might be expensive but you have quite a while before the wedding is on. You can call the hotel and ask who they use or book it through Sitters (not sure how much they charge in Scotland but in London it's £7 an hour).

I'm at my MILs right now, she is in the hospital for some tests. She should be out on Thursday:) After the testing, and if all is well, then she'll get a date for the op.

My BIL phoned me today, and he said he and his family will take care of MIL for the op, so that's a relief:o

How strange, I have EWCM, is it possible that I am ovulating this late in the cycle? Or could it be something to do with AF on the way?

ETA: I reckon it is prob a sign AF is on the way from what I can gather from doing some Googling.

Thanks QQ I think AF will most likely show tomorrow - I'm only on 14DPO today so it would make sense tomorrow. I don't think I OV'd late as I kept an eye on CM and my boobs alway swell up a bit after OV.. Time will tell! Am expecting CD1 tomorrow, got all the usual pre AF things going on.

Thanks to all for ((hugs)) - I was being a bit pathetic really and have now finished wallowing (and finished the Dairy Milk Fruit & Nut supply..)

Team lowe, I don't think it's an issue, dh's SA sample came back "well within normal" (a phrase he's taken to using randomly for the grin ) and that wasn't the most runny of samples I think your OH drinking more water and/or eating celery is supposed to help it go further

Can't remember who asked now, lily maybe?, but mil is only in her mid 60s -far too young to have given up she's got yet another infection though, as I suspected, so I'm hoping the antibiotics will help her mood too. Really beginning to dread visiting her, it can be so depressing and then I'm up half the night upsetting myself thinking about it all and what we can/can't do about it all.

Qq, glad to hear Bil has stepped up a bit more

Had friends over last night though, and made food for them, including my first time making plum& apple crumble...it was tasty! May have had a couple of drinks to help me relax too

I just would like to have one more forever baby to feel whole feels like I am never gonna get there. I don't know if I could cope with loosing another baby.........two MC's has been rough enough

grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.

Tinks - I'm sending you the biggest, warmest, snuggliest hugs. I know they don't make anything better but it's stll nice to have a hug every now and then - even if it's a virtual one.

I think you're maybe doing the right thing to step back for a few days. Concentrate on looking after yourself.
