Then time to start on the housework
Pest control man due back this PM so fingers crossed the rat will have gone
CD2 here trying to restore my PMA ready for another month of TTC:mad:
If you can think it........it will happen0 -
Morning ladies
No AF still this morning :j Altho I did wake up in the night with cramps so was expecting / dreading to see AF. I needed the loo and spent ages deliberating whether to go cos I really didn't want to go and find blood thereIt doesn't half mess with your head this TTC lark!!
Went to buy a clear blue test this morning but there was a lady I knew in the shop who I know to be a gossip, so I left and went to another shop and then she went in there too!Gave it up as a bad job and will go back later. Did someone say they were on offer somewhere?
My cat is getting lots better. Had her to the vets this morning and her temp is back to normal. They gave her a different shot of antibiotics which will last 2 weeks. Got to keep her in for the next couple of days. She did want to go outside this morning tho so she must be getting better - and she must have jumped on our bed about 5 times last night to come for a snuggle with me! Very pleased she is on the mend tho so I will forgive her anything at the minute!
Hubby is in a grump this morning after bringing his car into the garage. Turns out its more than a full days job and he won't have it back for tomorrow. I had mis-understood what my brother had said so was expecting it back tonight and my DH was not a happy bunny and thought I had lied to him about it and was only going to tell him once it was in bits and there was no way back  I wasn't very happy with this, burst into tears and took serveral minutes to calm downOh dear!!
Wouldn't be surprised if the only reason AF isn't here is cos of stress! Everything seems to be v stressful at the mo
Teamlowe - I wouldn't have thought it mattered how fast your, erm, DH's boys come out. They have quite a swim to go anyways. I guess its just like if you kick your legs off from the side of the swimming pool that you will get to the other side faster than someone who didn't get the head start. They will still get to the other side, just maybe a little bit slower and they might be a little more tired. You only need 1 little determined fella tho in there
Hugs for BFN Mrsj :grouphug: Hope AF stays away. I think a little wallowing is allowed. Ok, well last month I did quite a lot of wallowing, and I definately will this month if AF appears as she is so late and you can't help but get your hopes up by it all. Chocolate will help tho I'm sure. And if/when AF arrives I find a nice glass of vino helps too.
Hugs for AF Cherrydrop :grouphug: Muchos symapthy with the jealousy thing. Think we all go through that! I see pregnant people and prams everywhere I go at the minute - its hard.Married my lobster in July 2011
TTC # 2 since Oct 2011 - good things come to those who wait
 2013 is going to be our lucky year :dance:0 -
Ahh to have such worries Flee! OH and I haven't done it since Wednesday.
I was thinking about it yesterday but he had such a case of the Mondays that I just wanted to go to sleep so I wouldn't have to look at his miserable face any more! Hope he's more cheerful today or he'll be getting a slap!
Hugs for AF CherryDrop
I keep thinking about a wedding we have to go to next May in Scotland, the bride has declared that no children are invited yet OH and I keep thinking, blimey, we could have a 6 month old by then. What would we do? I wouldn't be happy leaving a 6 month old for 2 nights/3 days (what if I'm still BFing?!) but I don't really know how to get round it if s/he isn't allowed at the wedding, and we have to go as OH is the best man. It is silly but every month that goes by just makes me think even more about this, if we don't get PG this cycle then the baby may only be 3/4 months old at the wedding... but I suppose that if the best man's wife and child aren't welcome at their wedding then the people getting married aren't exactly the best of friends to us!Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!Goal Weight 140lb Starting Weight: 160lb Current Weight 145lb0 -

Sorry for the short post (will try harder at lunch) but...good news! They've found my records and I'm booked in for my HSG next Wednesday :j
Whoop whoop. My sister fell pg the month after hers...fingers crossed it's a family thing!0 -
Hugs for BFN MrsJ and to anyone else in need.
Birdie 85 - maybe the Bride and Groom feel differently about babes in arms. We had a 'no kids' rule at our wedding as it would have meant an extra 45 guests we couldn't afford to feed or fit in the marquee. However, I had a few close friends with what i would call Babes in arms (ie I didn't have to feed/seat them and the mum and dad wouldnt' have been able to come if they had to leave the child) that I phoned after the invites had gone out to say the baby could come. They all actually said they'd rather leave the baby and come out drinking but it was nice I'd given them the option. You may find the Bride and Groom say something similar.0 -
birdie - my friend's recent wedding was similar to zcrat's. The 'official line' was no children, but there were a couple of babies there who were all pretty new. Hopefully you will have your baby by then, so it may be worth asking them nearer the time if they mind you bringing an addition.
It does mess with your head trying to plan around something that may have happened/may not have though. Work is really up in the air at the moment with the relocation and I'm trying to make decisions based on whether I can manage to get pg or not - madness!0 -
Hugs to everyone who has had a BFN or their AFs have started.
Think I am due at the weekend, but I bought a couple of pregnancy tests last night at the supermarket just in case. Had to check that a woman I know wasn't on the till first though.0 -
It really does mess with your head all this TTC stuff. My friend's having a hen party in June and I've paid my deposit on the cottage which is great but she's just e-mailed to say that the activities she's got planned are quad biking and Go Ape! I'm so reluctant to confirm if I'll be doing it or not as I could be PG by then, luckily she knows we're trying so will understand if I drag my feet about that!
With the wedding thing, the bride is a bit of a Bridezilla (we're friends with the groom, he met her when he moved to Scotland and we've only met her 4 times and TBH... we're not impressed!) and when I asked last year about them relaxing the rule for babes in arms she was adamant that there was to be No Babies. It wouldn't be worrying me if they were getting married locally but they're not! Ah well, loads of time to worry about that. Not that the B&G are seeing it that way; they're already stressing about whether or not everyone has booked the hotel for the wedding, they made us book it last summer... for next May! The card that we used to book expires before the wedding day!
