Sexymouse congrats, that is really good news about the scan xx

Tinks, sometimes the pressure we put on ourselves makes it so much harder. I dont think giving up would be the right answer though, personally that would leave a whole for me.

    Hello sammy x

Well I was looking into maternity entitlements as I realised I would not qualify for the SMP this time because I'm doing 4 hours a week less than before I had Bob and it means I'm under the lower earnings limit. I thought we'd have to put ttc on hold because although I could go back earlier I really would want some time off to bond and at least till the baby is sleeping through. Well a friend reminded me of maternity allowance - I'd completely forgotten about it and should qualify as far as I can tell so baby making went on hold for a whole day.

    yay sexymouse :j

    BZ-hope you're okay

hugs for all cd 1's and everyone feeling yukky today

welcome sammy, hope your stay is short

I had a look through all the bumph that came with our appointment letter at the weekend and realised that I need to take a copy of my last smear results and my rubella status to the ASC, so have sorted the smear stuff but have to get bloods done for the rubella, luckily enough I work in the Health Centre, so chasing it up wasn't too time consuming. I phoned occupational health about the rubella as I remember getting the mmr vac before starting work for the nhs, the occy health lady was lovely until she asked if I needed it for accessing maternity services and then went on to give me a big blah blah about telling my line manager and risk assessments when pregnant etc, poor girl didn't know what to say when I got fed up and told her that I needed it to access fertility investigations. I came off the phone and felt as if I had been a bit of a !!!!! to her-she was just being lovely and chatty :o

MrsHappy, just make sure he knows you won't leave him just because he may not be able to make a baby:o

Thanks QQ-that made me cry a bit-I think he would be quite happy if I bogged off as I have been a bit of a stressed out psycho recently :rotfl: I have tried to reassure him that he is stuck with me forever regardless of what happens-maybe that is what is upsetting him :D

Merfe - You're ttc'ing again! I could have swor you said Bob was the last one :p:D

MrsHappy - Ah, you've just reminded me that I need to get my smear test booked in. Gah - I hate those things.

    Hugs Tinks xxx

Well, I'm hoping for some BD action tonight but DH has gone off to watch the footie. He wanted 3 pints, I wanted him to have 2, we compromised on 2.5 pints, but knowing him, he'll have 4 and a kebab on the way home. Lovely

So do you guys use Conceive Plus or Preseed? I used Conceive Plus last time and it did the trick so think I will try it again.

    Hi Sammy

Tinks - hugs, don't give up

MrsHappy - when is your appointment? All you can do is tell mrhappy that you will be together no matter what and that you will be there for each other.

Can't believe some people may have been testing early, what a shock :rotfl:

So who is next to test? Does Qq still keep the list?

    I'm sorry for your loss.

Are you talking about stopping the folic acid? If so then don't, if you plan to resume TTC then you should keep taking it. Government recommendation is that women planning to TTC should start taking folic acid 3 months prior to trying to concieve and then continue until at least 12 weeks.

    xx

If someone is ttc 3 months, 6 months, 9 months etc, should they be taking folic acid every day? At what point should they cut back if they are having no luck? I couldn't find anything about this on the internet.
