Hi guys, sorry to post and run earlier
I've read back but not had much chance to post today. I'm ok, but fed up with the Mil situation -she seems to have given up
I'm finding myself going over it all in my head at stupid o'clock ok the morning, and can't sleep, then get woken up early etc, and it's taking a toll on my health too. Anyway, it's completely off topic, so I'll say no more.:o
As for ttc, I've still got some ovulation pains, but not a fertile cervix or cm, so assuming it's normal for me to feel it after the fact.trying to forget what dpo I am so I can stave off ss-ing and BFNs
Welcome to the newbie, whose name escapes me
Rose (I think it was?) the folic acid advice can be found on the nhs website (on my phone right now, so can't link), but what I've read about it suggests that all women of child bearing age should take folic acid daily, and it helps the body make the most of iron, so it's a good thing in and of itself. I've found no cause for concern, whatsoever, about people having issues with taking it for extended periods of time"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
That's interesting that it helps you make the most of iron BZ cos since I've been taking it I feel more energetic and an iron deficiency (which I had when I was younger) can make you really tired. Wonder if the 2 are connected.0

Sorry to hear about your MiL' attitude for want of a better word. can I ask how old she is? my very beloved grandma knew something was wrong with her at Christmas and did t get treated until she got jaundiced so had to go to hospital, they found it was liver cancer and she refused all treatmentit was so hard to watch her give up but understandable in her case, she was 83 had lost the love of her life before I was even born and over the years lost everyone else of her generation. I think it was the death of her best friend of sixty years that really made her sad though, she wasn't the same after that x x
On a completely unrelated note, I've had a BDing revelation! My husband is well endowed so we don't usually do it from behind because it hurts if we don't do it right but we gave it a go last night and I stayed with my butt in the air for ten minutes and his swimmers totally stayed where they were meant to :j :rotfl:
It will now be our position for the month lol
Also, can I ask a very tmi question? Does it matter how fast his stuff comes out? It tends to gloop out rather than shootx x

Yet more vivid dreams last night - including me driving a friend's range rover through a pedestrian subway and getting stuck, and dumping my boss!:eek::eek:
Am telling myself I always have vivid dreams but have now convinced myself these are different. I think I may be dangerously close to the SS wagging finger:o0 -
If someone is ttc 3 months, 6 months, 9 months etc, should they be taking folic acid every day? At what point should they cut back if they are having no luck? I couldn't find anything about this on the internet.

*big hugs* for BFN and AF
i try to go with the rule that the wallowing is allowed to last as long as the chocolate doesLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

Hi ladies, you are all so chatty I cant keep up, lol. I cant remember names but that cardigan and blanket is beautiful, i recently made my niece a patchwork pillow for her 1st birthday and apparently she loves it
handmade gifts are the best, so much love goes into making them and you can really see it.
Abis- im glad mouse is getting better, i hope it clears up soon.
Bigzippy- i really hope mil comes round soon, i have been lurking fOr ages so know your situation. Times like this you just need to be there for them to talk and really hope for the best, and to tell all the lovely ladies on here how youre feeling as sometimes it can really help to air frustrations to somewhat-strangers.
As for me, AF decided to appear yesterdayso cd2 for me today. Trying to get over my jealousy of my friend but its hard, i work with her everyday and everyone keeps telling me "i thought it would be you to get pregnant first out of you two, how funny!" all i can do is laugh with them. I just want to say look, we are trying ok?? Anyways i have a day off today so going to mooch around here and watch some daytime tv. My internet is down so on my phone atm, need to chase that up too. God help the poor soul on the other end of the phone today i am not In the mood for excusew today :rotfl: xox

Morning all. This SMEP plan is driving OH and me mad. I was fighting him off last night because we had already BDed on Sunday and we are going for every other day until ovulation (around 13th Feb). I reluctantly resisted and that makes him want it more. Not sure how it will go this week.
