moneypuddle - that is such a lovely story. I'm so impressed you were so certain before testing, just goes to show that there's a lot to be said for intuition. Wishing you all the best for a happy and healthy pg x.

BTW: does anyone know what we should be doing with the asthenospermia? We currently BD every other day until ovulation but I don't really know if this is now wrong and whether we should let him save them up?? I should have know my OH's laid back-attitude would rub off on his soldiers!

I guess it depends how complete the asthenospermia is. If your OH sperm has no motility at all, you might find it difficult (impossible?) to conceive naturally. If he just has low motility then I think what you're doing is probably fine.

I don't mean to be pessimistic about your chances of conceiving, it only takes one after all! But I did want to be realistic. Remember as well that ICSI is a fantastic treatment that's used for motility problems. Obviously it would involve the whole IVF treatment thing which can seem very upsetting and daunting, but I wanted you to know that, even if your husband's asthenospermia is severe, you still have a fantastic chance of having a baby.

Speak to the fertility specialist. They'll be able to give you more information about your husband's particular circumstances - it's a shame they're being so rubbish. Good luck x.

    Hi ladies,

I've been away, well not properly 'away' but just not felt in the right space to be posting, although I've still been lurking these past couple of months. But I'm feeling better about things now, am going to make an effort to say hello more often

So first off, want to say a massive congrats to all the BFPs I've missed in December and January. I'm sorry I didn't post congrats at the time but was still thrilled for you all :D Congrats to the BFPs from Feb already as well, moneypuddle and 20something, wow you move quick don't you?? Also, massive (((hugs))) to the ladies who have sadly lost someone recently, my heart goes out to you.

Also a big, big thank you to QQ, who has noticed when I ov'd and when the witch came and updated the lists without me even saying anything :o so thanks QQ you're brilliant! :T

On that note, please can I be put on the testing list for next Friday (10th) because that's the day after AF is due. I would also like to predict 9 BFPs for Feb.

Massive (((hugs))) for any lovely person who wants one, at least it's nearly the weekend!

    xxx

Thanks for the information Fluffernutter-I really appreciate it.

It's been such a long time since he had his results that I can barely remember them but I think that he was shooting out more than average, but his motility was below average but there was still some there. I'm still hoping the two will cancel each other out!

Unfortunately OH went to the doctors on his own so he may or may not have asked the right questions. Apparently the doctor didn't say much about it apart from the old wear boxers thing and that he needs to test again. In fact...I may buy him some on the way home!

It's good to know that if that is the only issue we find then we've got options. Bring on the HSG. It's been far too long since I've shown my foof to a stranger :D

    Moneypuddle, congratulations!!!:j:j:j
I love how you presented the Digi to your DH:happyhear
Sexymouse, glad you have the immunity!:j
When is your 12 week scan?:)
Littlezee, perhaps your ov has passed? Are you 1DPO now?
Tea Lover, many people get something close to ewcm during 2ww too, something to do with estrogen surge mid 2ww and prior to AF:)
Primmer & MrsHappy, fingers crossed for your DHs' SA:)
TeamLowe, (((hugs))). Glad the test results were fine:o
LittleMoog, good luck with the knitting:cool:
    I love that giraffe:happyhear
Scottishchick, I always find I ov later than I think, so good luck with BDing tonight:)
kavics, hope your DH is OK:o
High for 9 days is normal:o Is the line getting lighter?
Derby, (((hugs))) What is your DH's motility rate?

DH has low motility/count/morphology etc. So long as your DH has enough count, it shouldn't matter so much. You can always get him some Pregnacare like things for men.

DH was given 1/2 clomid/day by our old FS, and that increased his count, but not enough obviously:o The new FS said nothing will improve it much, and due to my age, we were told to go straight to ICSI:o
    LittleMoog, hang in there:o
Flee, seems everything is working in the right direction, good luck:)
